Decided to try this after trying the excellent Kokum Cordial from Mala's. I'll have to compare the two to give a proper review. I must say Mala's is the superior product. Mala's is a clear viscous syrup with a 99% authentic taste of kokum -- sweetness with a hint of sour. The Mapro Crush is watery with visible bits of kokum & most notably, since it has added salt, it tastes salty and like the recipe was tampered with. Not a fan of this. The processing of ingredients feels raw and home-made. I definitely recommend any kokum fans to try to find a bottle of Mala's and skip this one.

We were looking to buy some rose sherbat for Summers but couldn't find a trustworthy one so going by the reviews decided to try this. The first bottle was absolutely delightful , a khatta meetha tangy summer coolant. Literally helped with light acidity too. ✔️ But somehow the 2nd bottle has bigger fruit particles and much less tasty than the first one. The bigger particles which seem like remanants of overripe peel get stuck in the mouth. 🥺 However, still it's a better bet than anything else for the summer heat as it feels natural. And don't expect a sherbat to not have sugar. It's required as a preservative.
