Just like the ITT wall phone I had in the 70's. Good sound and the mechanical bell is loud enough to hear everywhere in the house. Works with your AT&T or local telephone system and with Xfinity cable telephone service. Just remember to disconnect the AT&T or local telephone line at the subscriber interface box if you want to use the cable telephone service with existing household phone wiring. This is as simple as opening the customer side of the telephone subscriber box and unplugging the RJ-11 modular plug from the AT&T outlet.

I'm pleasantly surprised to have found this phone for an old unused wall-mount we have in our kitchen. The phone looks really nice (for a wall-mounted landline phone), fits the old wall-plate perfectly, and looks much better than having an unused wall plate in plain view on our kitchen wall. Ideally, we would get rid of all the landlines and wall-mounts and just use cells, but for now this is fine. The ringer though is sort of loud and sounds old-fashioned to me, but this IS an old-fashioned wall phone, so what can you do? It sure feels odd using this phone with pushbuttons and a corded hand-held receiver after years of using smartphones. But again, it beats looking at an used wall-plate and having to run from the kitchen to the den or bedroom to answer a call if someone calls on our landline. From other reviews it appears there is nothing I can do about the sound of the ringer and there are no instructions with the phone noting otherwise.

Nice, attractive phone. I wanted a wall phone that appears to be a wall phone and isn't wobbly on the wall. This is it. Comes with a short and long phone cords. No plate. Fits on our wall perfectly with a bit of finesse. The bell is an actual ring and is not extra loud as advertised. Very disappointed in that. The bell is average volume. You do have to be in the room to hear it and it does not have any volume control for the bell or to hear it. Not even on the back. I do recommend it do for the average landline wall phone.

My chosen (black) wall phone is more imposing than my previous model that occupied less space in my small kitchen. The ring and its volume are definitely reminiscent of earlier years, but that doesn't mean it a pleasant tone. It reasonably fits onto the attached wall hardware of the previous phone, but it is strangely not snug to the holder at top. It did not come with ANY written or pictural installation instructions, which is definitely not helpful. The little light on top is totally ridiculous and redundant unless the sound can be turned off (which it can't be) and one wants to be notified of a call only visually, for whatever reason. Had I noticed before purchase that there is no notice of who is calling, I wouldn't have ordered the phone: Now I simply let this phone ring and allow the answering machine in my office record any message--I'm tired of discovering salespersons, those with a political bent, or "name unavailables".

It’s easy to see & lasted the pool season at my cabana. I can’t say the same for other white phones I purchased previously.

1 one didn’t work and the 2nd one didn’t work either. It had dial tone but the red light didn’t work. Unfortunately I can’t ask the seller directly, so we just will return for a refund this time.

Bought for decoration. Does the trick.

If I'm standing it near it, I hear it ringing. Even the telephone man couldn't turn up the volume. It's very disappointing to be upstairs and miss phone calls. Very disappointed. Loved the red phone; as it went perfect with the kitchen decor.

Il est impossible de le plaquer contre un mur à cause de la proéminence de la prise RJ11 positionnée verticalement au lieu de l’horizontal. Utilisation conforme à la description il est possible d’augmenter le niveau de l’écouteur , mais impossible de régler le niveau de la sonnerie. Et pour terminer aucune notice technique accompagne la livraison de l’appareil. Et dernière critique le crochet de raccrochage ne semble pas très fiable !
