This pack attaches to a military web belt, throw on a couple of canteens, and the LC-2 shoulder straps and its a great day hiking set up (I ordered everything from desertcart). Its tough nylon ripstop material, yet lighter than older military canvas ones its modeled after. It will hold a poncho or rain shell jacket, some snacks, and other items. Pretty much everything you need for an all day hiking trip.
Review: Great pack for ALICE gear - Good quality bag and very roomy. Fits my ALICE gear very well. I read other reviews where people had troubles getting it lined up on their belt properly and not getting in the way the suspenders. I’m not sure what they’re doing wrong but I had no problems.
