This review is for Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver from Vrriis, $160 on amazon. REVISED REVIEW 13 JUNE 2024 In my 6-4-24 review I stated that this Tx & Rx system did not work with my Tablo Dual HDMI DVR. I gave the set 3 stars in my review. Within a few hours of writing the review I returned the Vrriis set to Amazon for a refund. The next day I received an Amazon correspondence from customer service at Vrriis asking if there was something they could do to correct my Tablo Issue. Customer service inquired as to whether my Tablo was 1080p or 4K. Not knowing the answer I went onto my Tablo’s on-screen settings page and found that my Tablo resolution was set to "Auto Switch to Best Resolution” instead of being fixed at 1080p60hz. I offered the suggestion to the Vrriis customer service person that my Tablo’s resolution setting may have been the issue with their Tx/Rx set not working, but, since I had already returned it to Amazon, there was no way for me to check my theory. Customer service generously offered to send me a second set so I could check out my Resolution theory. Well I received it a day ago and immedicably checked it out. Well . . . . IT WORKS GREAT. My original intent for buying the set was to send my Tablo’s programs to my family room that is 45 feet away from where my Tablo is located (and therefor 45 feet from the location of the Vrriis Tx) and through three wood studded walls. Once the Tx and Rx were paired (per the instructions) I brought the Rx unit to my Family room, plugged the Samsung TV’s HDMI input into the Rx’s HDMI output and, after a very brief delay, I received my Tablo’s signal . . . . Crystal clear. I watched a recorded program for about ½ hour and there was not drop-out nor did I experience any issue with the picture or sound quality. One very nice feature with this Vrriis set is that it offers an IR remote feature where I can control the Tablo while in my family room (using the Tablo remote). Works great. So I am now upping my review rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Great customer service and great product at a reasonable price. See my BTW below. BTW, I should mention that right after returning the Vrriis product to Amazon I ordered another brand Tx/Rx wireless set from the YUYUNLOMN store for $130. It was terrible. It couldn’t even transmit through two wood studded walls to a TV 30 Feet from the Tx . . . and no IR remote feature. ORIGINAL REVIEW 4-JUNE 2024 Wanted to use with my Tablo DVR to send signal two rooms away. After pairing the Tx and Rx, I positioned the Rx in the room (2 rooms away from the Tx). No signal. then I moved the Rx to one room away. Still no signal. Then I placed the Rx right next to the Tx. Still no signal. Then I plugged my TV's HDMI input directly to the Tx HDMI Loop output. Still not signal. So, bottom line, this Tx & Rx set is not compatible with my Tablo's HDMI output.

I needed to replace my older, failing Nyrius Aries Home transmitter/receiver that was 10 years old that connected one of my TIVO minis from a bedroom to a small TV in my kitchen where I didn't have any cable/coax/fiber available. I decided to give this Vrriis set a try. It's only been three days, but the setup was basically plug & play - very simple. It worked on the first try & has been operating much better than my previous Nyrius devices. Great pic, sound, connectivity and it works great with my TIVO remote control. If something changes, I'll update my review.

I don't know what it is, but in general, all of these devices have very high percentages of 1* reviews. My requirements: I have a Wally Dish Network satellite receiver (Wallys are meant for RV use). Its HDMI output goes to an HDMI splitter and the splitter's output then goes to TV #1. TV #2 needs to get the same output but from a transmitter/receiver. I've been through 3 different transmitter/receivers, all of the transmitters being of the disk type. None of them supported transmitting HDMI splitter output. This one does flawlessly. Inside the box, you get the transmitter, receiver, 4 antennas, 2 USB-C cables and 2 USB power supplies. You will need to supply your own HDMI cables, that's all. The devices are paired at the factory. I just attached my Blu-ray player output that came from a splitter, attached the HDMI cable from the TV to the receiver, and it worked easily from one room to another at 50 feet. The source video tested was 1080p from a USB flash drive and from a 480p movie saved on a Blu-ray disk. They worked flawlessly. Unless something unexpected happens within 30 days, I plan to keep these. So, why are others having so many problems with this device? I don't know. After initially writing this review, I did have a problem. The video on the receiving TV (Samsung) got excellent video but no audio. I felt discouraged. There is an HDMI OUT port in addition to the HDMI IN on the transmitter. I was not using the HDMI OUT port because the multi-port HDMI splitter seemed to make that unnecessary. What worked was taking the signal from the satellite receiver or Blu-ray player (via HDMI switch) and sending it first to the transmitter, then taking the output from the transmitter to the HDMI splitter and then to the TV and a black box that separates out the audio from the HDMI signal for use on headphones. These devices can be quirky.

I used this for an organ concert at my church to transmit video from the organ loft at the back of the church to a projector and screen at the front of the church about 100ft away horizontally and 20ft vertically. It functioned flawlessly. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I can't confirm it's claim of 250m (820 ft) and don't want to mislead anyone who needs to use at a further distance than me. While testing it at home I was able to transmit between adjacent rooms with a wall in between.

This product works. It is pricey but I tried other products and they always failed. Buy this and enjoy

Compramos este aparato para transmitir inalambricamente el video de nuestras cámaras de seguridad a un monitor que se encuentra en otro piso de la casa, funciona super bien, sin interferencia a diferencia del que teníamos antes. La configuración fue un poquito difícil pero solo porque de preferencia necesitábamos acceso a un monitor y no teníamos, pero aun así funcionó. Las instrucciones para vincular el transmisor con el receptor podrían ser un poco más claras pero en realidad es un proceso sencillo y funciona muy bien.

I purchased to livestream from video camera. Didn't work when plugged into Canon XA40 "No HDMI signal" detected :-( However it did work when plugged into Panasonic FZ2500 Picture was good, sound was good :-) Was getting good distance, about 50metres from TX unit outdoors to RX unit indoors... BUT then... After 2mins of testing, RX unit stopped working. No lights. No power. Completely dead. The end. Sending back for refund.

Using it to stream contents from cable TV to additional TV. IR for remote control not working. Bad user guide for installation.

PCで出力している動画を離れたところにあるテレビに出力したいと思ったことがある方向けのガジェットです。 私の場合、Steamでプレイしているゲーム映像を大画面のテレビに出力させたいと思っていました。 その期待に応えてくれるのがこの製品です。もちろん長いHDMIケーブルを使えば有線で同じことはできるのですが、配線はシンプルにしたいものです。 格闘ゲームやレースゲームのようにタイムラグがプレイにクリティカルな影響がでるようなゲームは遊ばないので分かりませんが、RPGやアドベンチャーゲームであれば余裕です。 かなり満足しています。
