Bergamot & Thyme Men's Fragrance Collection, Shave Soap in Tin, 150 G

I love this soap! It has a very light scent but it lathers so great and my skin feels clean and smooth. The bar is HUGE and square but you get use to it. I have added this bar to my soap collection because I love it so much. It does get the funk off of you so it is a true soap. A must buy!

Excellent product. Very high quality, neutral aroma. Makes a rich lather quickly that applies well. Reasonable price. The only thing I would change would be to have the container a bit larger so one could work up a lather without an overflow. A few products do this and it is very helpful. But overall, a fine product I will continue to purchase and use.

Smells so good and feels great after a shave. When I shave my head and face I put this on and it feels and smells great and provides moisture to my face and head. It lasts quite a while, not all day but close enough.

Not as scented as I would like. Lasts a very long time. Daily shaving and it lasts very long. Leaves skin conditioned and no razor bumps. The container could be oversized to aid in not losing any of the product to overrun but the tin container is nice.

I have a puck of No. 63 that I absolutely adore. I heard many good things about the Bergamot and Thyme, so I bought it on a whim. The scent is refreshing and slightly masculine. These pucks last forever (I bought my No. 63 FIVE years ago and barely put a dent in it). With a good brush, you'll make tons of thick foam with no problems. Gave it a go recently and my skin was silky soft after my shave, no dryness at all. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!

It is definitely a shaving soap that offers a lot of protection, you do not need to be an expert to rub the brush and get a lot of very consistent, creamy and thick foam. The pulp left by this soap adheres a lot to the face which gives you a sense of comfort, but it is something difficult to remove you will have to rinse your shaving tools very well with hot water (safety razor and brush) to remove it without problems. When you finish your shaving routine you will feel your face too soft very hydrated, I use it with my favorite safety razor MÜHLE R41 and believe me it feels comfortable when passing the blade across the face I gave myself 3 passes without problems, without irritation, I personally suggest using it with a badger hair brush, that way you'll get better results on your face in terms of softness. My girlfriend grateful that my skin is softer because it does not irritate my beard at the time of kissing her LOL. I highly recommend it because in short, protection and softness is what we look for when shaving and this soap provides both, the cons in my opinion I would like the smell to be something more noticeable stronger, I do not say that I do not like it on the contrary I like the aroma so much that I would like it to be more lasting because when I rinse my hands and face I feel that the aroma is losing. Those have been my impressions I hope it serves something thanks.

I never thought anything could replace Tabac, yet here it is! Pre de Provence has a beautiful, fresh, distinguished, and dignified scent. Not overpowering, but not too muted either. if I had to look for a word, it would be "Gentleman." It lathers a heap right out of the gate. The lather has great creamy consistency and gives wonderful cushion and a slickness that takes a bit of rinsing to remove. This is a good quality. All that slickness offers a lot of protection. I dare say ANY first time wet shaver will have absolutely no problem building a lather with this soap! The puck is a generous size and amount and comes in a great tin with a screw top lid. Based on how easy it is to load a brush and build alter, this is going to easily last for a year or two. My new favorite! EDIT - 02/23/2021 I still have this original puck!:) Plenty of soap left. I don;t think I even made a dent. PDP still has its scent and has performed beautifully. (I'm shaving with it again for my next shave!) It really is great soap. I'd have to qualify my first statement, though. I love Tabac and it's a sentimental favorite.:) I think PDP, for a non-tallow soap, runs neck and neck with Tabac. But, Tabac is certainly "the horse for the course" for me.:) Since trying both, I've been introduced to artisan soaps which are REALLY amazing. But, I think PDP and Tabac are both among the best large commercial soaps offered on Amazon. When I want a great tallow soap, Tabac. When I want non-tallow, Pre de Provence!

wHEN TI have used this shea butter shave soap for over three years. What I am about to write is for studly men only. If you are some weak knee shaving enthusiast who likes to warm up his lather, hold mommy's hand, then this review isn't for you. First I use both synthetic and bristle brushes. Since Pre jacked up the prices, now I will drive them down. I shave every day. So I rotate my brushes to let them dry thoroughly. My blade of choice is Dorco PaCE 6 BLADES! When they wear down in about 2 months!!! I sharpen them with Razor Saver and running water. I get about another week's usage that way. Before shaving I dip the brush in warm water for a few minutes. Then I shake the brush but leave about half a teaspoon of water in my frothing cup. The cup is a plastic container lid from a cat food product. It was a screw on lid so it has ridges running along the sides and a large rim in the bottom. This allows for quick lathering and is unbreakable. I take the brush after shaking it and twirl it in the orginal Pre tin like a can can dancer. This lifts enough soap to forth. If it is not enough, repeat. Not frothing, add a little bit of water. I then aplly to face and neck. No nicks yet even with a six blade. My Pre pucks last more than 1 year with this no waste technique. Saves $. One drawback to Shea Butter shave soap: It will gum up the sink after a month or so. I keep my old toothbrushes and open up the sinkhole, swirl the toothbrush around ans sink drains like new!

Este jabón para rasurar es realmente una maravilla. Son dos aspectos que tiene muy relevantes: 1.- su aroma es de verdad agradable y refrescante; 2.- Su consistencia como jabón, produce una espuma abundante y lo mejor es su rendimiento, ya que abunda en volumen al humedecerse y eso hace que sea manejable a la brocha por mucho tiempo. Lo recomiendo muy ampliamente a quienes disfruten el rasurado con gran placer.

Aroma agradable, fin de la irritación, pero el empaque venía dañado

I use this as an aftershave balm. Pleasant fragrance, not overpowering, long lasting. I will buy it again.

the shaving cream is almost without perfume odor. foaming that is expected with shaving cream is also not there. Soap is also quite hard and difficult to be squeezed from tube. Definitely not the type I prefer

Wonderfull scent and a very good shave soap - lathers easily and slick.
