I believe you will need to find an adaptor for the tip. This tip usually attaches to a female-to-male connection. I believe the petra has a female-to-mail connection.

What is the purpose of the pre orifice? Are you supposed to remove it before use?

The pre orifice makes the nozzle put out .4 gpm @ 40 psi. It is part of the nozzle and isn't removed other than for cleaning.
