Eine Freude, weil der Schreibstil von Gil und Anya Gildner für ein Non-Fiction-Buch leicht, praktisch und kurzweilig ist. Ein Ärgernis, weil zwar viele Themen berührt aber nur wenige vertieft werden. Da die Autoren über ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen schreiben, bleiben sie zudem eng an Themen, die für PPC-Agenturen interessant ist – für Designer, Markenberater und Creatives ist das aber nur bedingt interessant und zutreffend. Meine wertvollstes Key-Takeaway aus „Building A Successful Micro-Agency“ sind daher: – Baue deine Agentur Marke früh und konsistent auf. Deine Marke ist dein eines deiner wertvollsten Business Assets. – Gib um zu bekommen: Kostenlose Wissensvermittlung durch Inbound-Marketing gehören auch 2024 noch zu den besten Möglichkeiten, Reputation aufzubauen und Kunden zu gewinnen.

A fantastically written book, straight to the point and with no waffling. This book was well needed as there's not really anything else out there about being a micro agency. I've consumed a lot of content around being a 'solo' freelancer and scaling an agency, and this book is the sweet spot between the two.

As someone who runs a marketing agency, I was very exited to give this book a read, but unfortunately almost every concept in the book is a pretty generic concepts and nothing new and i was quite underwhelmed as I thought there would be more value. This book would potentially be good for someone who is starting an agency - but if you have an agency you are FAR better off reading a book like 'Sell Like Crazy' by Sabri Suby which gives far more value and insights into marketing and business.

I purchased five books on growing/running digital agencies and this is by far the most relevant and useful of the bunch! It's full of practical advice for both beginning and experienced agency operators. Give it a read!
