Wiiuac Nin Pro Controller White

After all these years we finally get a good controller for a Nintendo console. This Japanese version works flawlessly on our NA Wii U. The Pro controller is easy to sync up, feels sturdy yet light in your hands and has the longest battery life in any controller I've ever seen. It is a fantastic alternative to the gamepad. Especially for gamers with smaller hands. If you spend any amount of time playing Wii U, then I would absolutely recommend this as your go-to controller. The only issue I have is it almost feels like the X button and the right analog stick are a little too close to each other, but that is me going out of my way to list a Con.

This Wii U controller is exactly the same as the US Domestic version except that it is white! (Not sure why companies decide to not sell certain colors in the US.) This controller is fully compatible with US or Region 1 Wii U's. The front plastic of the controller is a very shiny fingerprint happy type of plastic. The back is matte with a very slight texture. Other than aesthetics this is a very capable controller for any Virtual Console game or Wii U game that utilizes the traditional type of controls. Vibrations are subtle and feel good in the hands for extended play. Let's talk about extended play - These controllers hold a charge for a long LONG time. Great for when you forget to charge it after a lengthy play session of kicking Japanese Mario Kart 8 players' asses.

The product worked great for a few weeks - very smooth syncing with the console, and there was barely any lag during gameplay. Now for some reason it won't sync up with my Wii U at all. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it's super annoying.

This is Nintendo's standard Wii U Pro Controller, compatible with the Wii U. It is packaged in the Japanese packaging with Japanese instructions, but the actual controller is region-free, meaning it works perfectly fine with Wii U systems in any country. It is a comfortable controller, fairly light for its size, pretty sturdy in the way it's built, with a pretty good button configuration and layout. It felt and fit natural in my hands. This controller is necessary for some 2-player games on the Wii U, such as Guacamelee, and I recommend it anyway, as it is a solid controller and a good option for Wii U games that support it.

Was shipped the incorrect controller at first. Got a Wii controller. I then asked for a replacement for the Wii U Pro controller. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they told me to ship it back so I could re-purchase the same listing, for the controller I wanted at first, and for a higher price. Capitalizing on their popularity of people turning to the Japanese controller by upcharging. It's disappointing, they had something good, but gave into the greed. All I asked for was a replacement of my original controller, not to re-purchase. I just ended up buying a Wii U Pro controller at Target. That kind of behavior doesn't warrant any more money out of me.

The controllers are fine, but they have some sort of wireless interference that I'm not able to pinpoint. I've never had any issues with X360, PS3, or Wiimote controllers. All three of my pro controllers will miss button presses and the joystick input will be delayed by up to a second. It comes and goes. Makes Smash and Mario Kart really frustrating, and that's really the only reason I bought these.

All right, let's get one thing straight here. This is an official Nintendo Wii U Pro controller-not an off brand or anything. The only difference between this one and the American one is the fact that this one is the Japanese version. All of the instructions are in Japanese and you're unable to register this controller on Club Nintendo due to that fact. However, it's seriously 10 dollars cheaper than buying the American version one-and the only difference is the language the instructions are written in. This Japanese controller worked just fine with my American coded Wii U. All you have to do is sync them up and, ta da! You're done! If you're unable to figure out how to sync a controller to a console, Google always has your back.

I was a bit skeptical as this is the Japanese version of this wii u controller but it works just fine on my American wii u. The controller itself feels very similar, to me, to an Xbox 360 or xbox one controller. Which is good news. Because this controller is the Japanese version I wasn't able to register it on the club nintendo website (although its really no biggy to me). Aside from the lack of website registration its exactly the same as the American version. I consider this controller to be a great buy although I dream that it would have had motion detection so that I could tilt the controller up rather than push a button when I go over a jump in Mario Kart (which is the game i assume most people are getting this controller for, and perhaps for super smash brothers when that comes out).

The white Pro Controller has been discontinued in North America which is why I imported this from Japan. Fear not, the shipping was far faster than estimated and was worth the wait. White always looks clean and the high gloss is nice here. Compared to the black Gamepad I have which is always looking dusty and full of fingerprints. This is the perfect companion to your Wii U, a traditional controller to play for hours [battery lasts ~80hrs]. Buttons have just the right amount of travel and a slightly clicky feedback. I will say that the placement of the main face buttons will take some getting used too. The sticks are identical to that on the Gamepad so the same great grip and click can be expected here. Triggers are in a natural position as well. If you're looking for a traditional controller you can't beat this one.

ここでの評価が全体的に低評価なので半信半疑で購入しましたが、 思いのほか使いやすくて驚いています。 PSやXBOX、もしくはゲームキューブのコントローラーとは ボタンと右スティックの配置が少々違うので、 慣れが少し必要だと思いますが、慣れてしまえばすこぶる快適です。 手が一般成人男性程度の手であれば、 とても馴染む大きさであると思いますし、そのサイズの手であれば、 いたって自然な持ち方をすればボタンとスティックが干渉することもありません。 主観ですが、任天堂含めて色々なゲーム機で、 何らかのスティックやボタンが押し辛く作られているコントローラーをよく見ますが、 このコントローラーは左右スティック、十字キー、ボタン、全て押しやすいです。 とても形状が考えられて作られている印象で、 スティック中心で遊ぶゲームでも、十字キーとボタンのみで遊ぶクラシックなゲームでも、 どんなスタイルでも手に吸い付くように爽快にプレイ出来ます。 触り心地も、十字キーやボタンは押し心地があり、 スティックもPSのスティックよりは、やや重い印象でしょうか。 アクション等をプレイしていて、触っている実感が欲しい人には向いているかと思います。 （逆に言うと、触っている実感がないほど軽い印象を受ける物が好きな人にとっては、 操作していて疲れる代物かもしれませんが・・・。） 任天堂の過去に発表されたコントローラーと比較しても、ファミコン以降は全て触っていますが、 それらと比べても、抜きん出た使いやすさを感じます。 ◆ただ私は成人男性ですので知るすべが無いのですが、 レビュー全体を見渡してみて、評価の低い商品ですので、 手の小さい人には合わないのかもしれません。 またXBOX360のコントローラーと形状が似ていつつボタン配置が少し違うので、 XBOX360のコントローラーに慣れすぎている人は辛い可能性があります。 ◆最後にまとめますと、一般成人男性で、触った手応えがある方が好きで、 360のコントローラーにそれほど慣れていない人には、 とてもおすすめ出来る代物です。 機能の面から、当初の５０００円以上する価格であればどうかと思いますが、 今の（13/6/19）２８００円前後の価格帯であれば、 十分すぎるほどのコストパフォーマンスを発揮してくれます。 おすすめ！

いくら新品でも、ちゃんと使えるかまだわかりません。でもWii U本体にこのコントローラーの登録ができたのでまあ大丈夫でしょう。あとこのWii U Proコントローラーは電源を入れたWii U本体からしか充電できないのがネックですね。 2020年6月3日水曜日の追記です。 この前、とあるリサイクルショップでWii U版のMinecraftを購入し早速使ってみましたが、動作には問題なしでした！！
