Everything has led up to this moment in Lizzie Glick's life. All of her curiosity, concern, and dreams have pointed to this time when she must make some very big decisions. Will she join the church? Will she continue teaching? Will she marry Stephen? Questions and indecision as well as answers and certainty enter Lizzie's life in Big Decisions, the third and final novel in this series written by an Amish author and based on true life experiences. Her sisters, Emma and Mandy, seem so certain that Joshua and John are their perfect matches. Does Lizzie really want to get married anyway? Does Stephen? Lizzie loves Stephen, but sometimes they disagree about everything, from their future to how to spend their Saturday afternoons. What happens if they get married? Can Lizzie find a way to respect Stephen's opinions without giving up too much? Lizzie thinks she's ready to join the Amish church. But she has so many questions. Can she really find happiness within her community? Skyhorse Publishing, as well as our Arcade, Yucca, and Good Books imprints, are proud to publish a broad range of books for readers interested in fictionยnovels, novellas, political and medical thrillers, comedy, satire, historical fiction, romance, erotic and love stories, mystery, classic literature, folklore and mythology, literary classics including Shakespeare, Dumas, Wilde, Cather, and much more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home. Review: Thoroughly Enjoyable Book! - Big Decisions is the first Linda Byler book I've ever read, but I am an avid Amish romance reader. The quality of the writing really surprised and delighted me. We often read in Amish romance novels that worry is a sin and that God is in control and will not give you more than you are capable of. Well, this book illustrated this very idea with humor, wisdom, and skill. The main character, Lizzie, is a young Amish woman embarking on an exciting time in her life- joining church, getting engaged, married, and so on, but as she goes through each step you can see her anxiety rise and her attempts at keeping everything under control. With many reminders that it's unnecessary to worry so much, it is hilarious to see her spin out of control only to learn the same lesson again and again. Such a tale of human nature. It's almost like giving you a chance to laugh at yourself. Not only is this book funny, but is is also touching and wise. While us humans fail again and again, we often pick ourselves up and learn from our mistakes (only to repeat them again later!). I love what can be learned from this book. It is delightful and insightful! Now to get the first two books of the series! I highly recommend it! Review: Finally becoming an adult - Selfish is the best word to describe Lizzie. Even after marriage it takes a few years for her to understand what everyone has been trying to tell her for her entire life. Than she finally sees how much easier life and living can be. While reading this series, I could picture the differences between my sister and myself, and then the vast differences between my three sons. It has always been interesting to me how each sibling can be so very different and yet be raised the same. A very good and thought provoking series.

Finally becoming an adult
Selfish is the best word to describe Lizzie. Even after marriage it takes a few years for her to understand what everyone has been trying to tell her for her entire life. A Good Easy Read
I really enjoy my books by Linda Byler and these 3-in-a-series are great. When reading her books it's almost like you are there with the family(ies) she is writing about. Great story, a great read, and hard for me to put down once I get started. I will be rereading this book. Also a little FYI when ordering from Amazon there is no delay in receiving your book(s). Very prompt.

Amish
Love the book. Amish books are a great way to read a book without vulgar language and sexual explicit content.

Big Decisions was a good book, but it took a while for me to get into the story. After reading more it finally started to develo
It was intriguing to see how Lizzie was so sure and headstrong about having what she wanted and the methods she used to get them but finally realized that life doesn't turn out the way planned but still can be good.
