Not sure if it holds 800 biz cards but...
We're using it for parent badges (plastic probably the thickness of a credit card) for school. Each box holds about 260 plastic cards give or take a few with the 20 dividers privided. This is a comfortable fit, so you can sift through easily with your fingers, reading names. The A-Z dividers are extremely sturdy and made of plastic. The ends clip into a bar on the inside and I was pretty rough on them inserting and reinserting and pulling them out.... And they even bend or crack. They double up on some of the letters of the alphabet, which I didn't care for but not a deal breaker. I just used other colorful cards to divide the letters. We have 705 students with approximately (doubled) for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncle's, siblings, nannies, etc... for identification. We bought 2 boxes but probably could have used 4. Love that both ends of the box hinges expand out. Could be great for conventions and conferences alike. One last thing, if you're not familiar with the English alphabet, they number the tabs for you, LOL😆Very happy with the purchase.

Great for people with small to normal sized hands?
I bought this for my husbands new job since he started to accumulate so many cards every day but it is too compact for him. H'es 6'3 and has hands that are much larger than mine and says that he has a hard time looking through it and putting cards away. He then went on to say he feels like he's a giant looking through a little mouses business card holder. I on the other hand have no such issues. It's very sturdy, the little doors on the front and back flip outward to help when looking through it. It also comes with printed dividers A-Z.

Needs one improvement - UPDATED!
Excellent for purpose, well designed and constructed. However if you don't have enough cards to fill the full length or nearly so then the cards will fall over. Needs grooves at intervals along the inside to allow insertion of a block to adjust the useable length.---> Well I guess this proves that you should use something before you rate it!Right after submitting the above I took a look and discovered the system of rails and the support that already addresses my concerns. Splendid! It also looks plenty sturdy to me. Well done!

Not bad, fairly flimsy though
I bought this to organize a growing number of business cards I’ve been amassing at conferences. I figured cataloging them in this box would help keep me organized, but I found that the lid and dividers were very cheap (understandable given the great price though). In the end, I opted for a binder instead personally, but this certainly isn’t a bad solution.

Great for organizing!
There’s soo much room for the cards! It’s made of thick plastic so it’s durable. Super easy to keep it organized because of the alphabetical cards. It keeps desks looking neat and organized. Love it!

Looks aren't everything; but the people pulled through for me
This item looks good on the outside. However, the inside has major flaws. First, the index tabs (alphabetized) are flimsy and only attached loosely to two thin rails on the bottom. Next problem is there is nothing holding the tops of the index cards in place. So, the index cards cannot support the business cards and they all fall flat (related to last problem - next). When you try to pick them up, they pull off the rail and the business cards get stuck under the rail and are difficult to retrieve. But the worst part is that there is no mechanism to hold all the cards if the box isn't entirely full. If you don't have 800 card to fill up this box, the index partitions aren't solid enough, so all of them fall flat. If there was a spring, or even sliding, mechanism which would keep sufficient pressure on the cards, the above problems may not be an issue at all.Very disappointed.EDIT 1/3/18: Although this product did not meet my expectations, the people at MaxGear did. They quickly reached out to me after my review posted and tried to figure out the best way to make me satisfied. I appreciate their efforts and how they responded to my criticism. I upped this review from 1 to 3 stars for their efforts. Based on what they did, if I find another MaxGear product I may be interested in, I won't hesitate to deal with them again.
