Before buying this product ask yourself what is your use case... Work? Traveling? A friend? A gift? Depending on what your looking for I suggest reading my experience just to gain a better understanding of what your getting. I personally use this for my work. I sell phones at a boost mobile, and about 60% of our customer base is latino. I bought this in hopes of making communication easier when translation is not available. I needed to be able to have a meaningful back and forth conversation while being transparent as well as establishing a connection with different customers. I needed something that would be as close to a natural conversation as possible. Did it meet everything I needed? Let's go through the main points. -Sound quality is decent. It's not the best but not the worst. It really doesn't need to be anything special, it's just talking. As far as what you hear, the voices aren't terrible, they sound decent and don't make you annoyed just by hearing them. There's a beta AI feature that I like that conveys more emotion in the speaking while online. -Battery life is completely respectable. It lasts a week while in use the days I'm working (4-6 days a week) or about 30-40 hours worth of shifts. I take the earbuds out of the case when people walk in, as I encounter a lot more than just spanish. I only use them about a 1/3rd of the time so maybe 11 hours of actual use ish a week. With the charging case though this is no issue. I'm not sure I could imagine someone being able to kill the battery from full very quickly. Earbuds can stay out of the case for a while too. -Accuracy to be completely blunt is about 85% of the time correct. It's I'd say about 30-35% more effective than google translate. While sure 85% doesn't sound like it justifies the price, I think it really does. Because when it gets things wrong it may be a small word or a missing/random word, I'd say you get the picture about 95-100% of the time. It makes your intentions clear even if your words were slightly incorrect. It blew my mind and made me able to sell phones to people in different languages. It's already paid back itself honestly so I can't complain at all. -Speed of translation is varying, when you are on online mode speed of translation is zippy as heck! Online mode is slightly more delayed but more accurate. Also if you order ONLY get the offline ones. You get free credits in the app and can download 2-3 languages. It saves you money unless you want more languages. So overall if you're a consumer looking for something cool, make sure you have a decent use scenario or else you may have it sitting around for a while. Otherwise if you like the concept, check out the Timekettle ZERO. It's much more affordable but no earbuds. If you want to use it for work and have a definite use case for them. GET THEM. Try them for a couple weeks and if you don't like it return them. But for me it changed my work, if you see yourself talking to a lot of people and want to establish greater connections, give them a shot. You won't regret it even if it isn't 100% accurate 100% if the time. It gets the job done and is very personable. If you've already decided you want it, get the ZERO too! It usually comes at a super discounted or free price when you get the earbuds. Then you can have a different range of conversations as multiple people can get involved.

Unfortunately, this device did not work. I granted it all permissions on my phone, set the language, tried it on another phone, and it still doesn't translate. I need it for listening mode, and it doesn't work. There are people talking right next to me, and it still doesn't translate anything. I'm very sorry, but it's too much money for something that doesn't work. I will request a refund. Until I find one that works, I will continue to use "Say Hi."

Because so many say this is bad and others say it's perfect, I'll tell you. We bought both the white and black Timekettle WT2 Edge/W3 Translator with Timekettle accessory package. The latter is the best, without a doubt, it is the black one, the translation is correct quickly, you do not need to keep the cell phone with the screen open, you just connect it and that's it. It does not have signal cuts and the headphones come with accessories so that it does not fall out of your ear. It is clear and can be heard clearly, sometimes I thought that it was heard very loudly and other people could notice it but that was not the case. It also lasts many hours activated. I love it. Now compared to the white one, which is cheaper. It's really inferior. It says inconsistencies when translating. You have to connect it every 10 minutes because it's difficult to put it in and take it out every moment. It's really annoying, it doesn't come with accessories in the ear, you should buy it. It sounds slow... so you know if you want something really good, buy the one that comes with the package with black Timekettle accessories. Timekettle WT2 Edge/W3 Translator. I tried it at work and it worked wonderfully.You don't have to press it every time you want to talk, you just turn it on and go live happily. Buy it!!!

It is a good earphone in case of emergency. . 1. Headphones are easy to fall off. I don't have this with other headphones. 2.Translation is very good and recognition is very accurate in places with good network. But in offline mode, it is a mess, and the recognition is completely inaccurate.* English to Chinese translation 3.If both parties talk together, the earphone will talk by itself, because it can recognize that I am talking and translate it when I am not talking. I don't know if it's the product. 4.Also, the application has been running in the background of the mobile phone, but the headset often disconnects itself and then reconnects * often happens! ! 5.Where there is a network, it is generally good, if the accuracy of offline translation can be improved. Optimizing the connection can keep it working all the time. .* One thing to add is that the mobile phone may not work under the condition of screen display, but it will work normally after unlocking, so it is necessary to prepare a mobile charging treasure. .

I live in Orlando Florida and work in sales. We get customers visiting from all over the world. I thought this product could be helpful with communicating with customers in their own language. Today I assisted customer’s who spoke Spanish, Russian and Vietnamese!!! All of them loved how easy the app was to use and the accuracy of the translations. It’s awesome having so many different options on ways to communicate with the EarPods or even just on your phone through their app. The EarPods are comfortable and not too bulky. Great sound quality and very durable. I had a coworker speak to me in Spanish from 20+ feet away and the translation was spot on!!! I can’t wait to use this on my upcoming vacation to Japan!!! The price was a little higher than I wanted to spend but for the quality and how easy it is to use….. it’s worth it!!!

I used them once to see if they work.. they are pretty cool...they will translate everything. So, after a month of the sitting not being used..my trip is a couple of weeks away so I wanted to test again just to make sure I have prepared. They arent holding a charge it seems like and they just dont work. multiple chargers different outlets. nothing seems to help. and its past my return window of 30 days. I'll contact Timekittle support, but this is disappointing. Update: after messing with the charging port a little I found that you really have to jam the charger into the port to get it to work. Also, because of the way the case is designed you may not be able to use some of usb-c charging cables. So, I gave it a few more stars. Even though user error I have plugged in many chargers to things of the years and there is definitely a flaw in the design. Althought TimeKittle support didnt actually help me with this, they were very responsive.

Bought these as an Upgrade to M3 which work great. I was attracted by the simultaneous translation mode. The simultaneous translation mode works as advertised. I returned these strictly on the fact that the in ear design is terrible. Does not stay, WILL not stay, even with the supplied ear hooks. The WT2 Edge/W3 is not a Bluetooth device and has no other functions that other devices have. These just connect to the app. Don't know how, but are not for playing music or phone interaction. These were purchased to improve communication with a friend who has almost zero English skills. The M3 has enabled us to become close. Neither one of us can recommend these, strictly on the fit!!!! We were able to use these only by physically holding them in place. They do work, but shape make them unusable in real life,

I purchased this translator for my relocation to Costa Rica. It is important that you put it on the proper mode so that it knows exactly what you are wanting to translate and what noise to filter out or listen to. I have used this to exchange conversation with my hosts and friends when we are both struggling with one another's languages to have much more fluid conversation. It has some lag time when long paragraphs are spoke, so, be mindful of the rate of your speech. It is helping me learn the language as well as I can not only see what the translation is on the screen as I listen to them, but also then understand what they are saying. Allowing me to put the words together with their spelling for better pronunciation and immediate response in my own language. Improvements are always being made.
