JOAH Perfect Complexion Under Eye Concealer and Hydrating Serum, Korean Makeup for Dark Circles and Puffiness, Peptide Serum with Medium Coverage, Cushion Tip Applicator

I have bags and darkness under these 66 year eyes. Been searching for a concealer that doesn’t look globby or cakey under my eyes for many, many years. Ordered this on sale, thinking here we go again, another try another failure. But to my surprise, IT IS SO FABULOUS!!! Goes on smooth, lighter, with surprisingly great coverage. It seems magical, the way it seems to disappear under the eyes, and the sponge applicator supplies an excellent blending. The only thing I do is a concealer brush just to spread it a bit thicker on top of the dark circle. It stays quite well, and you can use a bit of translucent for even more longevity. I have spent a fortune over the years, but tell you that this is incredible value for a less than average price.

Good product, I haven’t used any eye concealer before so I decided to start using. Bought this one, and it feels nice and lightweight on my skin. It does give you a natural look, I use a very slight amount because I don’t want any product or makeup to build up on my face. I try to stay as natural as I can. It is a good value for the money, and it comes with 2 concealers in one package.

Product arrived on time, and first impressions were good. I have not used this product on my face yet but I have swatched it and it has really nice coverage. It blends into my skin nicely as well. I got pretty lucky with my shade match fortunately. I’ve always bought the concealer wands because of the convenience but I’ve always thought they were a little too small, this one is larger and has a good amount of product. The container is heavy and sturdy too compared to other wands I’ve used in the past.A little goes a LONG way with this product and it DOES NOT need primed when first opened. I clicked it far more than I should have (maybe 5-6 times) and a lot of product came out. So maybe only click it once or twice when using it. Also the smell of the product it’s not overwhelming but it does smell strongly of sunscreen. Excited to see if it helps with my dark circles with the ceramides and peptides in it.

I bought this on a whim after reading a review of K-beauty products, and I’m so happy I did! I have very pale skin, but with hereditary dark circles under my eyes. I purchased the “fair with cool undertones” shade, and it’s provided good coverage!For reference, I normally buy shade 120 in the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser, and 12B (light beige) in Tarte shape tape concealer.A lot of product comes out during the initial twists! I kept twisting because nothing was happening, and when it finally did have visible product, it’s been enough to use for days! So FYI, go slow on those twists!

Pros: The texture is silky and hydrating. (No caking or settling into creases.) Sturdy, easy-to-use applicator tube.Maybes: It's very sheer so is best used OVER foundation. Even layering barely covers blemishes or heavy dark circles.Cons: The applicator sponge is huge so doesn't fit into the corner of the eye/nose without concealer going in the eye.Conclusion: I'd buy this again if the applicator was smaller and the coverage a bit more opaque.

[background info] I currently own 19 concealers, from drug store to high end and all claim to be hydrating, creaseproof, and full coverage. Even two out of three wouldn’t be terrible but few even make it 5 mins without creasing and settling into my fine lines. I saw a recommendation for this concealer and remembered hearing about JOAH a few years ago but it quickly left my brain as a mom of 4. Well I had yearning to try a new drug store concealer so I purchased. I am beyond impressed with this concealer. One- it is hydrating with a natural finish which is what I love. Two- it is NOT full coverage which doesn’t bother me these days as I’m not trying as hard to cover my dark under eye circles. Three- IT. HAS. NOT. CREASED. This brand has figured it out, I’m not sure how they did it but it did not crease and I did not set with powder to be able to give a review without manipulation. The best part besides being creaseproof, is this is a SERUM CONCEALER including ceramides and peptides. Seriously? How can this be more of a win?

tried the joah concealer in color fair with cool undertones. I really like this concealer. I find that it brightens a little bit more than the flower concealer by drew barrymore in 1-2 fair. It’s not bad in regards to settling in lines, but to note, it does settle more than the flower concealer and the Neutrogena concealer. This is over thin layer of moisturizer and primer. I’ve noticed no difference eliminating either of those steps. I’ve included a picture of these concealers. Under the left eye is the flower concealer and under the right eye is the joah concealer. I’m not sure of I buy again. Leaning towards no strictly from personal preference of brightness.
