This adapter was able to pair with both an old PS4 controller and a knockoff ps4 controller effortlessly to the Switch 2 and computer. Keep in mind you can only pair one controller at a time per adapter, but if you have old controllers laying around this will breath new life into them and save you money from buying new ones.

Works great using XSX controllers on my Switch 2! Please be aware you may need to plug it into a computer for a firmware update found on their website but this takes barely a few min. Pairing my XSX to the Switch 2 worked seamlessly!

Works very well except I had to update the firmware which requires a PC and for you to download their firmware updater app. After that it connects very well to my PS5 controllers. Before updating the firmware, the connection would cut in and out. My only problem with it is that its a bit wide and if you try to put 2 next to each other on a raspberry pi, it does not fit and you need an extender for one of them

I'm struggling to find a decent Bluetooth adapter for a desktop PC I'm setting up as a retro emulation station. I bought this thinking it was a generic Bluetooth USB adapter in a fancy shell. That's not what this is at all. This allows you to pair Bluetooth controllers, without using the Windows Bluetooth stack, and it treats them like wired Xbox controllers. So for best results you need to use a controller with the same number of buttons as an Xbox controller. I tried this with a dual shock 4 and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. Paired in just a few seconds. I'm thinking about getting a second one now for two-player games. Because it isn't a generic Bluetooth adapter, doesn't rely upon the windows Bluetooth stack, and maps all buttons to Xbox buttons, funky controllers like wiimotes don't work at all. They will pair but there's not much you can do with them. Least I haven't played with it very much. Another downside is if you do pair a PlayStation controller to use with this, button prompts in PC games show up as Xbox buttons. Could be potentially annoying if you're playing a new game and don't know what buttons do what. The control software, "ultimate control" is pretty intuitive and it's portable so it doesn't require an install. It's necessary to use if you want to say change the LED colors of a dual shock 4 or remap buttons. You can also use the software to set up different profiles and macros. At the end of the day, I still need to find a decent Bluetooth adapter for my wiimotes. For PlayStation controllers though this will do the job!

This works well after an update. Out of the box it doesn’t link up to the switch 2/ Xbox controller. You have to update the firmware on the adapter first. You also have to enable the pro controller on the switch for this to finally work. After that it works great. If it came ready to go out of the box I would of gave this 5 stars.

Works great on the Switch 2 with my Xbox controller once everything is set up correctly. Connection is stable and input lag feels very low. IMPORTANT: you MUST enable **“Pro Controller Wired Communication”** in the Switch 2 settings first, or it may not work properly. Go to: System Settings → Controllers & Sensors → Pro Controller Wired Communication → ON Also make sure to update the adapter firmware to **V1.10** using the Firmware Updater from the 8BitDo website before pairing. Mine had issues before updating, but after the firmware update it worked perfectly. One thing to note: the button layout follows Nintendo’s layout, so A/B and X/Y are reversed compared to Xbox. Overall, excellent adapter once configured correctly.

I was so positive this thing wouldn't work on switch like it said, it was latest firmware, it connected, everything... But no input. I am using the 8bitdo ultimate controller 2 with this adapter to my switch. If you have this issue, go to controller settings on the switch and turn Pro Controller Wired Communication to on. This has it recognize the dongle as the true 'input'

Strong connection..quick binding..easy to use. I did have a problem with an over sensitive x-axis but it could have been controller or Nintendo Switch
