Easy to use and works as advertised.

Works as it should. It helped us diagnose what the drivetrain malfunction light was on our bmw to know what we needed to fix. Even gives codes down to like faulty lights and the recirculation sensor not working. It is very easy to use, was obviously compatible with our vehicle. Its really cool because it gives you the code and if you click on it it’ll give you a google search of what it is so you dont have to keep going back and forth between apps. My only issue but not really an issue, just assumed it would, is i thought it would stay up so i could continue to look at the codes inside, but as soon as you turn the car off and it “disconnects” you cant do anything with it. It has to be paired to see past scans and codes, but if thats its only fault id say thats pretty good.

2012 Mini Countryman This reader works well for me. Plug and play for the most part and essential for the DIY mechanic. The typical parts store cannot accurately read the BMW or Mini Cooper codes. Their scanner is too simple. I picked this one up to reset my battery and have used it to read/reset codes. If you are not DIY, you can have an education on what your car needs before you head to the mechanic. When it picks up a code it will link the user to the proper part and some AI articles on common issues/repairs. You can leave it plugged in and perform a scan at will or while analyzing the issues. It has a feature to read the battery during the start up cycle so you can find the battery’s ability to keep up with the heaviest load it will have as well as the charging ability of the system. There are probably some limitations of this one over the fancier (and more expensive) units. The professional level scanners will offer some reprogramming this one does not perform. I just reset a lot of codes after some deep repairs. This one works well for me and is reasonable in cost. If I need that bigger, badder unit, I’ll go to my favorite mechanic.

Works very well on my 2010 Mini Cooper S. Was able to install/register a new battery bought at a big box auto store. You cannot change any battery parameters in the BM700 so you have to buy a battery identical or slightly more beefy than the battery you are replacing. One major flaw is you cannot scan your vehicle and then later plug in the BM700 to your computer to retrieve and investigate the errors found. Had to take screen shots of the BM700 with my phone. The manual could use a bit more explanations too. It detected my rear window defogger was disconnected, a bulb burned out, some problems with oil pressure sensor, and other things. All in all, I would recommend that any Mini Cooper owner buy this tool. As others have said, it is excellent to find problems, you then do the repair and clear the codes.

Only used it once on my 2018 bmw x1. Came right on and found vin. #. Did a full scan and all is good. Easy to use. Would recommend this product.

This little guy is a must have for any BMW’s glove box! It has saved me a lot of money pointing me in the right direction with warning lights! You can’t beat the convenience nor the price!

Heck with a side of yeah. It works much better than the Bluetooth ones.

My daughter's car is slightly older, so it has a few minor problems. Keeps throwing up an error 'check engine' we had no idea what it's doing this, taking it to my local garage they want $230 just to run a simple diagnostic test. Did some looking online and buying an OBD2 code reader, I have bought one in the past but nothing like this one from Ancel. This scanner is great for figuring what's wrong with the car the amount of detail. Was amazed at what this tool can do. Once I plugged the OBD2 scanner into the car in a matter of a few minutes the scanner was able to detect the problem. It was the fuel pump. We needed to reset the electrical parking brake (EPB) was able to do this as well, in a matter of a few clicks. So this scanner has now paid off for itself as saved me a ton of money by not having to bring the car into a shop. It's also a great tool to make sure the mechanic is being truthful, as it tells you in real-time what's wrong. Have a check engine light on? Don't worry this scanner can turn it off and it stays off! This scanner is the real deal I am so happy with it. All cars over the year 1996 will have an OBD it's usually underneath the steering wheel or near the ashtray. The number of codes and data analysis it pulls from the vehicle is insane! It does cost a little bit of money but in the long run, will save me the money takes up little to no room. I domt need a power source to use it (the car will need a battery) build quality A+ it has a rubber-like coating on it guessing for falls and wear and tear. I have now been using it with all my friend's cars and family, so definitely putting it to good use. I like how the user-friendly interface is not complicated.

Todo según lo esperado. Borra los fallos q aparecen en el cuadro instrumentos. Genera un informe del chequeo realizado. Sirve para muchos modelos de BMW

Je l'ai reçu 2 jours après l'avoir commandé. J'avais un défaut au niveau de l'appel SOS qui s'affichait en permanence sur mon X1 18i de 2017. Je l'ai branché puis configuré en français. Ensuite j'ai sélectionné le modèle de mon véhicule et lancé un diagnostic. Il a détecté 3 défauts dont le SOS. J'ai ensuite demandé à supprimer tous les défauts. J'ai refait un diagnostic et plus aucun défaut ! J'ai roulé un moment pour voir et pas de problème à signaler. Je trouve que ce produit est super pour le prix. Simple à utiliser Et il fait très bien son job.
