Are there any differences between the women and the men shorts?

I am unsure of the women's. The men's have just a slight longer cut than previous rugby shorts I have worn, and I would describe the material as more stiff or starched.

Is there a sizing chart? What should I order for a 42" waist?

They run small I would go at least size bigger. I wear a 36 and 2x fits me
