It's been almost 3 years since we purchased this machine. I have nothing but good things to say. This is probably the best high speed scanner I've had. We use this on a daily basis, scanning 100 documents two-sided, drivers license.... for our business. No hiccups. You just put all of them in, the scanner recognizes the sizes, figures out whether it is single sided or two sided and scans come out clean. The software provded is also good. We don't use it because we have a different software more suited to our needs. I have not had a single maintenance issue with it. I would highly recommend this machine.

This is a higher quality version of the scansnaps (at a higher price of course). Mechanically, it seems to work much better than the scansnaps. Less paper jamming, faster, bigger paper tray, etc. My wish list: I would like to see them work on the workflow of their software a bit. It is a little awkward, during upgrades it loses some configuration, and would like to see more PDF/A options. Another thing I have always like about Fujitsu is they are pretty compatible with most things and they tend to keep their software up to date. In addition they make consumable kits pretty available and affordable which you will need if you use it extensively. Overall though I would definitely recommend this over a ScanSnap unless the budget will not allow it.

I had an fi-6030 and then got a fi-7300NX and needed to work from home with all the same abilities to produce work. Scanner works great but a scanner is just about only as good as the software behind it. It comes with PaperStream Capture and can but the Pro version. The software is a little odd and not intuitive. One it is set up with a host of profiles, scan away. Outputs go to shares over VPN and does that quickly. USB 3 is the best to use. I connected a USB 2.0 cable and the speed difference was very noticeble. Of course I hade to set up the network cable and found out that USB 3.0 is much more efficient. I am sure they put it in there after producing the fi-7300NX which is basically the same machine with a different display in the hole of the case semilar as the 7300. Happy with purchase. Now I haev an epson flatbed, Canon DR-C225 really good scanner, a Snapscan 100, a 500, 1500 and a few others. For high productivity I got the fi-8170. the 8190 is faster but think about the handeling of paper when it comes out. Buy clear scannet sheets for thin receipts a clien may want back, not ripped up. Buy a staple scanner that finds metal in paperwork. Scanners really don't like them. AT ALL!!!

Purchased this after seeing a review on Youtube regarding the ease of use with scanning cards in top loaders, semi rigids, and even in penny sleeves. It works... Sometimes... It jams about 75 of the time. And when it does go through, your top loaders & card savers will get scratched. Tried running some penny sleeved cards through it and sometimes it would work, but other times it would get stuck on a penny sleeve and ruin the sleeve, sometimes the card. Mind you I made sure to test with junk cards. Glad I did. Another issue I had is, when the cards finally scanned, sometimes they would come out slightly distorted or over stretched. See the pictures attached. None of these pics have been modified by me. This was the results I got from the scanner. Lastly, if you're going to scan a Prizm or Chrome card, they will come out VERY dark. Again see attached pics. The software was not the best, very clunky. But it is the free version. They do have a premium paid version which I'm sure is more intuitive. I'm back to taking photos in a well-lit area. I get much better results, but it is time consuming.

Its a personal copier/scanner that's good for a small business. Albeit, fast enough for an executive in a large organisation

Good for the Price. Very fast. Would buy it again.

شركة وجهاز غني عن التعريف تم تجريبه وهو رائع وسلس جدا في مسح المستندات يعيبه فقط صعوبة تنصيبه ولكن استخدم السي دي المرفق معه وستحل المشكلة
