My key was yanked by my kid and I was devastated! My MacBook was a gift and I love it so much I didn’t want to have to buy a new one. Desperate I made an appointment at Best Buy and at another third-party fixing company. They quoted me over $200 because they said they had to take out the whole keyboard and replace it!! How is it possible that me, an insignificant person, with no prior training, was able to fix my key so easily? Idk but I’m so happy it worked out my way! Amazing quality as well! No issues with the item nor the installation 10/10!!! And only 10? Best value for your money, it was compatible with my 2020 MacBook Pro and it’s appearance makes it looks like nothing was wrong! It fit perfectly. I love it!

Definitely watch some videos before replacing and learn the mechanism. Apple wanted $500 which I never would’ve paid but it is nice having my button working again

I damaged the key while cleaning it; it's a bit tricky to put on, but after a few attempts, it worked. I read that there would be a noticeable difference between the original keys, but honestly, I don't see any. I replaced the down key on a MacBook M1 16''. It seems a bit pricey for a single key, but despite that, I’ll buy again if I have another accident; I really recommend it.

This was a solution to my arrow key falling off all the time. You cannot tell that it is a different than the other keys. It BLENDS in perfectly and FITS. I wish there was more information on how to install as it was tricky and time consuming. I will buy again if any other key needs replacing.

It does not work

My left arrow key somehow popped off and the little piece inside was broken so it wouldn’t pop back on. I took it to Apple and they were unwilling to change only the one key. They told me they would need to change the entire keyboard and with Apple care it was still going to be $300!! Absolutely bonkers. I purchased this, watched a YouTube video and replaced it myself for $12 and in under 30 mins. Shame on Apple.

Went to the Apple Store with my broken plastic scissor clip and down arrow key. They were unable to fix and only offered replacing the entire keyboard for $480. I really just needed the scissor clip piece, but bought this to be sure it was the right size. I still feel like 12+ dols. is ridiculous for this tiny piece, but it did work. It would have been nice if it had come with directions of how to install for this price, but it didn’t. After a few tries, I found a YouTube video with directions for putting it on. I got it fixed. Four stars because it worked, but no directions and still seems ridiculously overpriced.

IF you are looking to replace any of your keys make sure you use Youtube to know how to remove and replace the keys on your keyboard. This key fits my MacBook Pro and it works just like new!!!. Make sure you pop the right side of the key then push key to the left before removing/ popping it off otherwise it will break.

Exactly what I needed to repair my keyboard

There is no rubber cap with the package and without rubber cap, it does not make sense to buy this item. I purchased without rubber cap and feel like, Its a waste. Now I have to go to apple store and fix my key.
