There are not enough stories about the lives of the saints that actually encourage children to read about them. This story shown Brigid as clever, brave, confident, faithful, and generous. What a treat this little story is. Share it with a child you love.

Wonderful
I bought this for my daughter's 9th birthday and she absolutely loved it. The language is simple but captivating and the pictures are gorgeous. This belongs on the bookshelf of every Catholic family.

Sweet little story about St Brigid and sharing what one has with others and trusting God to supply your needs. My three year old loves it!

Sweet story
Very sweet story of a lovely saint. The pictures are a bit too cartoony, but my children enjoy it!

Such a treasure!
Absolutely one of my favorite and my daughter (age 3) never tires of this story. It is a great way to teach children about giving to others in need and also of God’s mercy! On St. Brigids’s feast day we make oaten bread and homemade butter from whipping cream.
