Cannot Beat the Customer Service

UPDATE: I reached out to the company customer service. They were very prompt and helpful in accessing and troubleshooting the issues. When nothing seemed to resolve them, they stood behind their satisfaction guarantee and offered to replace my keyboard with a new one at no cost. The keyboard came faster than expected! It is so nice to have a functioning keyboard again! Very happy with this company and their product! Definitely would recommend them and their product! Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this keyboard due to the number pad on the side and the foldable, lightweight, design that comes with a carrying pouch. I have had this since March 2024. However it now lost functionality of many keys like “q”, “z” and copy and pasting with the control key. I use all these keys frequently at my job so having to resort to my laptop keyboard for the features is very bothersome for a year old keyboard. If the features/keys lasted longer, this definitely would be a higher ranking. But as of now, I am very disappointed in the product.

Excellent folding keyboard!

I purchased one of these a few years ago that had a slightly wonky space bar, it was such a minor flaw that I assumed it was just a factor of the keyboard being foldable. After killing my original while trying to clean some crud out from under the keys (I removed the keys and probably wasn't careful enough), I replaced it since I still loved the 3 device connection and the integrated number pad.The new keyboard is flawless! Still light, still foldable, still has the number pad, but every single key is super responsive and I no longer have to hunt for a 'sweet spot' on ay of them!I haven't been able to find a silicone keyboard protector yet, so I've covered it with a sheet of press & seal wrap that I trimmed to fit, to save it from debris and spills. The only thing that would make me like this keybord better is if Protoarc offered a low profile sleeve for it the way they do for their keyboard/mouse combo, currently when I put it in my bag I'm using the plastic envelope it was in inside the box.

Kind of disappointed *With update

*********************************UPDATE No. 2 (March 8, 2025*********************************I contacted the company and they did send me a replacement. I had to shoot a video to prove that my keyboard was not functioning properly first and they mailed out the new keyboard. So, the customer service is great. However, the new keyboard is having similar issues already. It definitely works better than my previous keyboard, but the alt and spacebar keys are sort of difficult to press. They work, but you have to press very hard on them, which I wouldn't mind too much except for two reasons (1) I use alt-tab and alt-ctrl religiously to switch between apps and zoom, so alt is a key I probably use more than any; and (2) it's inconsistent. For whatever reason, you must press harder on the alt and spacebar than the other keys. I wouldn't mind as much if the weight was the same across all keys, but it's not and that's my complaint. Still, I'm very happy they sent me a replacement and will bump them up 2 stars.******************************UPDATE: January 16, 2025******************************After using this keyboard for about four months, I was FINALLY starting to get used to the awkward placement and size of some of the keys, and then... it broke. The "T" and "G" keys will no longer work properly. Sometimes, if I press VERY hard several times in a row, I can get one of them to type, but the keyboard is basically useless to me now. It's so frustrating to spend $50 on something that only lasts a few months.Despite that, I still think this would be a nice keyboard if they'd just tweak a few things ...Key placement: Having the "Page Dn" and "Page Up" keys in a row between the right arrow and O numkey is so frustrating. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to click the right arrow or type the "O" and it causes my screen window to page down. It's so annoying.Folding: There needs to be a way to lock it in place when unfolded, especially if you want to use it on your lap.Spacebar: Very inconsistent and will sometimes not registerReally, that's about it. If they would tweak those issues, I think it would be one of the best mini keyboards out there. The battery life is excellent, the look is slim and attractive and key mechanism feels nice.*********************ORIGINAL REVIEW*********************I'm a weirdo.I spend so much time at a computer that I get excited when I order a new keyboard. The anticipation swells as I watch the tracking info until finally! It's here. This keyboard was no different. However, since the day I unboxed this tri-fold wireless keyboard, I've been met with disappointment after disappointment. The first major disappointment was the folding mechanism. This does not lock when unfolded. That means if you need to place it on your lap -- which I often must do -- it will easily fold back in on itself while you are typing. And even if you place the keyboard on a pillow or something soft, it often sinks into the pillow and bows in a somewhat concave position. The next disappointment is the spacebar. I have no idea why, but I would guess one out of about every 10 presses of the spacebar just does not register. Finally, those tiny, infinitesimal arrow keys. Not only are they very small and difficult to press, they are difficult to find because of the awkward positioning. I cannot tell you how many times I have missed the arrow keys and pressed the "page down" key. It's too many times to count, which leads me to my final negative: the lack of a backlight. I didn't think it would be a huge deal with this keyboard, but it kind of is, just because of the spacing of those arrow keys and some other commonly used keys, like page up/down and the tiny function keys.Am I being too rough on this little keyboard? Maybe. But I kind of feel like I paid just a bit more for this keyboard than most so I guess I was just expecting a little more. Now, don't get me wrong, there are some positives: It folds up nicely and is very compact. It can actually fit in your pocket if it's large enough. And the battery is awesome so far. I've been using this for several weeks without needing to charge it yet. And I probably use it a few hours a day. Finally, the Bluetooth functionality is great. It's responsive, has no ghosting or repeating letters and has never disconnected while using it. It's also nice that it automatically goes to sleep when you fold it and reconnects instantly when opened.I'm still giving it three stars as it's not a complete disappointment, but I feel like a few tiny adjustments (locking mechanism, spacebar tweak and maybe a backlight) would make this an awesome keyboard. As is, it just misses the mark, in my humble opinion.

So far, so good!

This feels like a pretty good product so far. I like that it has three different Bluetooth connections so you can easily switch between devices. I probably will never use that, but I did connect it to my main travel laptop that I bought it for, as well as my iPhone and my home PC.The only weird thing is that there is no OFF button. To turn it off, you fold it shut. Which means if you want to leave it for a while, you have to fold it shut.Spacebar as not as responsive as I would like it, but that may be me more than the keyboard.

The best external keyboard I've ever owned.

I am reviewing this thing a few months later and holy wow. This is the best external keyboard I've ever owned and I've had quite a few of them. I'm also a loud typer, many people say this to me. I like the weight of the keys punching against my fingers. This keyboard is holding up super well and I've only had to charge it once since getting it. Pretty awesome.
