It takes a little getting used to, and it’s a little awkward to use, but once you get used to it, I like it. It comes with a nice storage case and a cord for charging. I don’t know how long the blade will last, but it has made breaking down cardboard boxes to fit in recycling bins much quicker, cleaner and easier. It even works on cross grain of a cardboard box, but it is slower than cutting on a box seam. The most awkward thing is that you have to push a button on the side of the device with your first finger while pushing up with the rest of your fingers to get the blade to spin. Your thumb, of course helps grip the tool. Also, you must hold this position for the blade to spin, and with your other hand, you sometimes have to hold a side box flap away from your starting point. This is both awkward and takes getting used to using the tool. Still, I was able to use the device within 15 minutes, and now it is easier to use. It really does cut up boxed fast! It is rechargeable. I have cut down about 10 cardboard boxes so far, and have not needed to recharge the device. The only drawback is that it does not cut through tape on the box. So I still have to remove tape from seams with another knife before using the cutting tool. I kept the device, and do use it - cutting boxes up is much faster and not as messy with extraneous small pieces coming off when I used to use only a knife to cut up the boxes. Also, there is a blade guard which makes the device safer. See the button on the side (circled) that you must press in, while pushing up on the long bar (arrow pointing ) to run the device, in the last photo.

My son really enjoys making cosplay like props out of cardboard. Thing is that I do not like him messing around with razor blades or xacto knives since they slip easily on cardboard and can cut him. I also don't want him using scissors since the blades dull and start to bend the cardboard after a very short while. Now I see this cool little cutter. It is cuts right through cardboard very easily and is safe enough to be used on all thickness of cardboard. Basically, a mini hand saw for softer materials but probably not cloth. He did have some issues cutting short radius curves so it is maybe better for straighter cuts and then use the xacto knives for the curves. Overall though the battery is working well and has not run out so thats good

This is great for getting rid of cardboard mountains! It is easier to use if you cut along the cardboard grain, but will also cut against it with a little more effort. I haven't had it for very long, so I can't speak to how well it holds a charge without use, but I was able to use it for well over an hour and it still had plenty of battery life left.

I bought this for my 83 year old mother who has arthritis in her hands and has trouble using scissors. She absolutely loves this and cuts practically everything with these now. I tried them on some thick cardboard and some leather material and it went through them with ease. It has a safety button that has to be pressed before pulling the trigger which is a good safety feature. I would recommend these to anyone.

These come with a very small amount of charge. they are great for cutting through multiple layers of fabric I mostly work with cottons. Save my hands from hurting after a day of cutting out patterns. Down side is that it did not come with a wall charger even though it shows in the picture it doesn’t. I just assume there’d be one in there in my house I have teenagers were always fighting over a wall ports.

Safety button is hard to push in and makes it difficult to use when you need a precision cut as the button is so hard to go in that it is almost impossible to maintain the cutter at the cutting line.
