Quickly makes ice and now I never run out of ice

Edit - After seeing my review, customer service from the seller contacted me and offered me a replacement at no cost. They shipped It out within a day of the message, and the replacement arrived two days after. So far, no issues on the new one, and to be honest, given their immediate response and willingness to replace the faulty one, I couldn’t be happier. Hoping this one lasts longer, but time will tell. Bought this in November of 2023 - fast forward to March of 2024 and it has stopped working. Water pumps through, sounds like it is making ice, but when the tray drops, there is only tiny fragments of ice, no actual cubes/pellets. Tried troubleshooting multiple times over the course of a week to no avail. Completely disappointed - our last ice maker lasted over 3 years with no problems. This one lasted barely 5 months of light use. Of course, it fails just outside of the product support window. Would not buy again.

Review Update. When I received the ice-maker and it didn't work, I spent some time trying to get it to make ice and then gave up and returned it and left a negative review. Within days - ECozy contacted me and quickly sent a replacement item free of charge. I'm happy to report that this item does indeed work and lives up to my original expectations. In the world of mass produced items, we are quite used to having the occasional failure - which is usually returned or disposed of with rarely a response from the manufacturer. ECozy is the exception to this rule. They really stand behind their product and go to extra ordinary effort to make sure their customers are happy. I've therefore revised my review to 5 Stars. Original Review >>>>>I read all the reviews and decided that this was one of the better ice makers available. It wasn't available in Canada so I purchased one on a trip to the US. I made the mistake of not testing it before I returned and discovered it was non-functioning when I arrived home. The machine would go through all of the motions, but the tubes the ice formed on never got cold. I tried contacting the vendor who was quick to respond, but they had no ideas other than leaving it running for longer periods and making sure the water was cold etc. I pushed them for some additional ideas on how to repair it, that turned into them wanting me to send them videos of the machine not working. I gave up and returned it to Amazon at significant cost and will buy another unit here from a different manufacturer.

I love this ice maker. It’s not noisy, it produces a decent amount of ice quickly (within 10 minutes), fits great on my counter and it’s not stupid expensive. This was a replacement for a Frigidaire replica that lasted about 3 months and just quit working. These ice makers normally last quite awhile if you take care of them properly. Keep it clean and keep the water level up. If you continuously let it run out of water to the point where it needs to notify you, that means you’re repeatedly running it dry. That’s going to shorten the lifespan.

This had the potential to be the coolest counter top ice maker I've ever had, but honestly it just fell short. The machine doesn't get quite cold enough to keep a full bin of ice balls completely frozen, so the ones on the bottom start melting and by the end of the day are often about half the size they start at. I liked the ice enough to overlook that, but then it started leaking. At first it was just the front right side, and only a few drops every now and then - so the tray was able to hold it, and again, I was willing to let that slide. But I've had it just about a month and now it leaks pretty steadily and I basically have to take the fresh ice balls out and put in my kitchen freezer almost immediately after they drop if I want them to hold their size. I thought there must be something wrong with the machine, and since I got the warranty through Amazon and it had been less than 30 days when I originally reached out to see how I could get the ice maker exchanged, I didn't foresee having any problems. But then I found out that there is no exchange or replacement option. If I want to return it, I have to box it up safely and return it to the company for a refund. Of course I no longer have the original packaging and I am afraid I won't be able to box it up securely enough to return it fully in tact without it so I honestly don't know what I'm going to do.

We purchased our ice marker in September 2024 and loved it and had 0 issues. One day we woke up and the ice marker just stopped working completely. Could of been an electrical issue with our outlet? (We're not sure) No ice were being formed. We reached out to customer service through their Facebook. They gave advice on how to fix but unfortunately it still didn't work. They were lovely enough to replace a new one for us free of charge! Sent one within the week. Couldn't thank them enough for such great service. Highly recommend.
