They're white circles that cover electrical holes. There's not much that can go wrong with them.

We painted these the ceiling color before mounting. They are very effective.

I liked that the spacing between fastener holes was 3.5 inches which is what I needed for my old metal junction box. The screws provided were probably for a plastic junction box so I needed to dig out some bigger ones that would fit my metal junction box screw holes. This is basically a circular flat plate and it would have been better to have a ridge at the edges of the plate to give a more finished final look.

The good:- Arrived within one day.- Shiny white, they are glossy so you will need to sand if you have a flat ceiling color- Hole distance match distribution box.The bad:- Screws are too long- Screws don't fit, the diameter is too small- You need to get your own ones.

Appear a greyish white color when compared to my white ceiling and the screws are silver.

The plate itself is fine but the screws aren't for a standard American box. They're too small. So, I had to drill out the screw holes and then use screws that would fit correctly.

I got these covers to cover up the holes in the ceiling from where I removed old smoke detectors. the covers look great and the holes are the right distance apart. but man, these screws are so long, it was exhausting to install them. I bought another set of these covers, but I'm not going to use the provided screws anymore- get better screws from the hardware store if you are going to use these covers.
