I was not interested in owning one of these because I have a small kitchen and didn’t need one more thing to find a place for. However, my spouse bought it anyway and once I tried it, I loved it. It is tall and narrow so it uses my limited counter space efficiently; it has no cord to hassle with; it is light weight, and it is very easy and quick to use. It is sitting neatly and unobtrusively in a corner of my kitchen counter under a cabinet near the sink. It’s so easy and quick to use that I don’t avoid using it like I do other small kitchen appliances. The frosting on the cake is that it is saving me money because now I do not buy sparkling water at the grocery store. I have more space in my refrigerator because I don’t have a shelf filled with cans of sparkling water. Also, despite the SodaStream being made from plastic, not going through all those countless cans we were sending out in recycling every week is better for the planet. For your safety, be sure to read the manual about how to use the cartridges properly (it’s not a big deal or hassle to use them correctly). Also read about how to flavor your water if you want to without gumming up the machine (again, not at all difficult). Cartridges last for about 60 bottle fills of the tall bottle marked with a fill line that comes with the SodaStream. It pays to have a couple of extra cartridges on hand so you don’t run out when you really want to use it. I live in a hot climate so I drink a lot of water, but I drink more when it’s carbonated for some reason. Running out of the first cartridge when we first bought this SodaStream sent me back to the grocery store for canned sparkling water while I waited to receive a new cartridge. I have not had this item long enough to attest to its durability, but thus far, I am very happy with it. It’s the best small kitchen appliance we’ve purchased because I actually use it regularly and do not mind its presence on my kitchen counter!

I picked up the SodaStream Terra on the recommendation of my daughter, who suggested it might be a good way to replace my Pepsi habit - while still giving me the option to make the occasional Pepsi when I want one. I'm glad I took her advice. Setup was very straightforward right out of the box and I was making my own carbonated drinks within minutes. The whole process is simple and intuitive, and it's been easy to experiment with different levels of carbonation and flavors. I've also found that flavorings like Crystal Light and Stur work especially well, making it easy to create a wide variety of drinks without having to keep cans or bottles on hand. it's been a convenient and flexible alternative to buying soda regularly. The CO2 cylinder was very easy to install, and not having to find a place to plug this in is great as well, as I can just find a spot on my counter and it's good to go. Overall, this has been a great purchase and a simple way to cut back on store-bought soda while still enjoying carbonated drinks.

am very pleased with this appliance it works quickly and is simple to use. It make a liter of sparkling water at a time . You can flavor it wit several choices or just make plain bubbling water. I don't know for sure how many liters the co2 cartridge will make because you can vary the amount of co2 you put into each liter.almost the entire product is plastic which is of some concern but we really enjoy its convenience. The starter kit is a good way to go before you make a final decision

If you’re on the fence about getting a SodaStream, jump on over. I highly recommend. This is actually my 3rd one, I literally don’t drink anything but sparkling water, I make at least 4 liters a day. My 1st SodaStream was the upgraded model and used it daily for about a year before it broke. (Thankfully, I was able to exchange it.) I replaced it with the basic Terra model and loved it. So much that I took it on a road trip and it tipped over in the car. The nozzle got messed up. It still worked, but getting the bottles on and off was a splashy struggle. I decided to buy the new version and it’s amazing. The bottles click in with ease. Just slide the bottle in the back, pull down the lever, and you’re ready to bubble. No twisting, no guesswork on making sure it’s tight enough or too tight. Took me all of 5 seconds to get the hang of it putting the canister on. I usually press the carbonation button 3 times because I like it bubbly. And it’s been perfect. One thing to note: if you’re upgrading from an older model, you’ll need the new pink-cap bottles, which are designed for this newer system.

This is a lifesaver! I drink fountain Diet Coke/Pepsi daily and the money adds up quickly. This is the perfect substitution. It simple and easy to use, doesn't require any electricity or batteries, and quick. It is on the louder side and it also sprays water when using it from the force of the carbonation so I always have to keep a towel on hand, but all in all it's good quality for the Prime Day deal I got and how often I use it

I have one myself and use it often. When I find something I really like I like to pass it on. For Christmas I gave the set to my daughter in law as a family gift and they are very happy I did. It’s very easy to use and if you don’t have soda very often you save on storage space.

Paid for a new Sodastrem terra machine from Amazon. Received product. The machine is defective! Water squirts all over the counter (when water is in the water bottle below the line or at the water line) when the co2 button is pressed even just once. Amazon told me I need to contact the manufacturer even though it's less than 30 days since receiving the product. Sodastream told me to contact Amazon(3 calls back and forth). Finally, I had to create a video for the manufacturer to see the water coming out all over my counter. Poor customer service from Amazon and the manufacturer. No value for your money and poor quality. DO NOT BUY! Not worth it. No stars!

I received one as a gift and love it. So I ordered this one as a birthday gift for my daughter. She is very happy with hers as well.
