Great when your cooking with cast iron, I’ve used these to remove my cast iron pans that were in the oven for hours at 500 degrees never felt the heat!

It is a little oversized and will not stay on my 10inch or 12inch Lodge pots.

This is a must when using the cast iron pits ! I thought I had purchase two in the package but only one came it works great! I will need to order another one for the other side of the handle. Glad I brought it don’t hesitate you need this in your kitchen when cooking on cast iron pots !

It's just an assisted grip, it's not meant to stay on i guess... loose fit Personally I like to use these to indicate that the pan is hot for others in the house! For that use I think an oven mitt is better... eh just get the handle protector and not this. Giving 3 stars bc it can be used as another barrier
