Really great pair of jeans! I am a big guy and usually buy my jeans anywhere from 50-52 in waist. I've been experimenting recently with levi's brand because they make the Athletic cut for big sizes now. And they are more form fitting and give less of that "trash baggy" look that comes with buying jeans as a big guy. I Love how they fit. You can always tell that they're big jeans- because at the end of the day, I'm still a big guy. But one interesting thing that I will note is that I decided to try to get a few sizes smaller to see if I could pull it off. I haven't lost weight or anything- I just ordered a 48 because with the Athletic cut jeans, no matter the brand, the cut makes it possible to actually wear/fit smaller sizes around your waist. Well I ordered a 48 and they fit amazing. But I dare say that I could even order a 46 to get a look where they me a tighter fit. As a guy who usually rocks 52 or 50, size 48 feels kind of loose. I like I need to tighten my belt. I know that they are a little on the expensive side. But if you can swing it, think of it as paying for quality and craftsmanship fitting. I am definitely going to order again and try for a size 46!

Great, athletic fit jeans. Soft, resist fading, true to size. Give them a 4 because despite being “athletic fit” they are a little tight on the calves, for ME, YMMV.

541’s are simply the best Levi’s for Big and/or Tall guy. The fit is perfect. Roomy in the caboose and thigh area, but not baggy. Which is important because it gives a slimmer look, which allows me to wear for work and my street wear look. The pants are also tapered which allows me to not only wear my work boots, but also my Jordan’s, Nike’s, etc. The best part is the selection of colors that are offered for the 541’s!! Denim in blue and black are the classic colors. But Olive, Khaki, Camo, Gray, and Ripped options are available. Providing versatility and variety to my wardrobe is very hard to find for my size. I know all you can agree with that. All at an affordable price! I got this particular item for only $25.79! That‘s right, a pair of Authentic Levi’s for $25.79! How could I pass that up! Now I’m always looking for another great deal. Thank you Levi’s and Amazon for making this available, at an affordable price!

I suspect you are like me when I was doing this last week. First, I absolutely rely on REAL reviews. Here's mine: I'll start off by saying I'm an "athletic but not sporting a six pack" guy. I'm 6'7" 297 lbs and I've always struggled to find a pair of jeans that fit, looked good, was cut right and most important....Wasn't gonna bust through the seat of my pants cause I squatted down to pick something up. The 541 solves all of this. I did order the "one size up" rule of thumb that seems to be consistent on most of the reviews and seriously, here on a Sunday afternoon the mailman drops these off and I try them on and it's like I'd owned these badboys for years. Did a couple of squats and lunges and there's ZERO risk of ripping. I also sat and walked and did all sorts of day to day sort of movements and I can say that within the first ten minutes I knew I'd never need to worry about buying jeans again (and got a "wow those jeans really make your butt look good, great really.") Haha, I swear they better not even dream of stopping these. No more having my legs fall asleep from my thighs being cut off just to get a good looking bottom half of the jean. No more getting bigger jeans just to be all baggy and weird or have to pony up the cash to have them tailored to look like the 541's do straight outta the box...and it has that stretchy stuff which is amazing really, I'm kinda pissed I'm just now getting a hold of some jeans with it (fist raised in indignation!) Good quality jeans. Fit is always hard to discuss because we’re all built a bit different. I have thick thighs and usually have to buy a size up to be comfortable. However this ends up giving me a loose waist and way too much material around the calves. This is my first time trying an Athletic fit. I still had to buy a size up, so the waist is still a bit large, but the thighs and the calves fit well. As with anything else, you’ll have to try them to see if they will work for you, but don’t remove the tags until you know for sure you want to keep them (to avoid any problems with returning). Personally, I’m happy with the quality and fit and will look for these again.

The fit is... interesting. A bit tighter around thighs but the very roomy seat makes for a strange feel. Not bad, just different. Guess I'm not use to "athletic" fit pants. I do like the color of sea drift, has that dark blue modern color with the fade from knee to upper thigh, similar to Lucky brand jeans. The fabric does provide a bit of stretch which is nice and adds to the comfort. They are also on the softer side as far as jeans go. I said somewhat large because of the very roomy seat and its also loose around the waist. These are good if you like to tuck in your shirts. Be forewarned, these are not for people who prefer low/mid rise jeans. The waistline sits very high, right at the naval. I'm sure some will think that look is goofy. I'll keep these as I can wear for work where I tuck in shirts. While still getting use to the looseness around waist and butt but some hugging around thighs, these are comfy.

As with all Levi’s jeans they are great quality however my disappointment with these is the size. I ordered a 30” waist, the labels on the product stated a 30” waist but these are at least a 34” waist. The words “Athletic fit” should not make any difference to the waist size so I can’t say whether or not you should order a size or two less than what you normally are but, unlike me, try them on before cutting any labels off so that you can return them!
