I'm subletting at a furnished house and I work remotely. The coffee table worked better as a desk/office than the actual desk did, but I was getting pinched nerves in my hips from sitting on the floor. I bought a knock-off Lovesac pillow which saved my butt but not my back, lol. I hesitated about buying *another* piece of furniture that would likely be temporary, and I was really worried about the fact that 90% of the photos of reviewers using it were little kids. I'm an adult, 5'7, about 190lbs, so whether your third grader likes it isn't exactly relevant to me. Well, I took a gamble and I WISH I'd gone with this first. This is perfect for my floor desk needs! the 84 degree position is ideal for office work and I can sit without hunching or putting my knees over my hips (do NOT sit with your knees over hips for long periods unless you want the kind of pain painkillers don't touch - ask me how I know). The chair is firm, but soft, amply padded. The back is sturdy. I only wish I'd picked a different color than beige, but I was in a rush to stop the back pain caused by sitting weirdly every day. I'm definitely going to keep it even after I move. If you've got a floor-based set up, I highly recommend it. Can't speak for certainty, but I think even if you were taller, like 6'0+, it would still work for you.

So far so good. No issues. Item came as described. We have a reclining couch but I find myself sitting on the floor anyways. This is so much more comfortable than a carpeted floor. I bought 2 and so when I am the only one around I put them together the long way and sit on one normally and then put my feet on the second one. Way more comfortable. When this one goes I’m thinking of getting the longer one seems like that would be even better. Anyways it hasn’t gotten flat yet as some of the other reviewers have complained. But I only sit on it 3-4 hours a day. My 6 YO keeps on reclining it and putting it back up like a toy and it has not broken yet. I am quite happy with my purchase. Update: I originally purchased this 04/19 and by 06/20 it looked very beat up and the back would not not stay up on one of them. There is a way to take the cover to wash but the inside is packed with small pieces of cloth/ foam and For me it was too late to wash the cover. I think it held up fairly well considering but do not expect it to last more then 2 years if you use this daily. I ended up throwing them out and I bought 2 new grey ones. As you can see my dog has taken over one of them. I still like this a lot. Happy with my purchase.

I’m really impressed with this folding floor chair. It adjusts so easily that even my 8-year-old can change the positions on his own. I love that it can lay completely flat for simple storage, and it’s lightweight enough to move from room to room without any hassle. It’s ready to use right out of the box! It’s been the perfect chair for my son—he uses it to color, watch TV, and even do schoolwork. We use the chair sometimes with a folding lap table that fits perfectly over the chair and we love the setup. The padding is soft, supportive, and genuinely comfortable to sit in. Overall, a great addition to our home and definitely worth the purchase! *NOTE: The table does not come with i”the chair. It’s just for ideas for styling purposes.

I bought this to use in front of a red light panel so I can either sit or lie down on my side to treat different areas, and this works very well. It's nice and cushy, very comfortable. It's not long enough to lie full length but I knew that, so I use a pillow in addition and bend my knees. The outer material is soft and pleasant. I'm happy with this.

So, at first I really really liked these chairs. The kids like them too--soft, plush, easy to adjust, and store. The trouble comes when you need to wash these. As the pictures show, once you open these up, you realize that they're very, very poorly constructed with materials that do not meet my expectations. Washing these chairs involves 1/opening them up 2/untying wraps to keep them connected to the base structure 3/removing 18 foam-filled packets from inside before washing. If you have more that one chair, it's a process. Needless to say, the chairs are in the 2-3 star range for the price. In my opinion this is a $30-40 product that would probably wreak havoc in landfills. I would not purchase again.

I’m an infant teacher and have used so many different floor chairs. My last one bit the dust and I needed to finally pick a new one. I’m 230lbs and have had back problems all my life. I needed a chair that actually sits up straight. This chair is so comfortable and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m actually thinking about ordering another one just to have an extra on hand.

I have a really bad back and tend to enjoy lying on my side while studying. (I’m a student who also likes to game). And I’ve found this to work really well for me. For starters, I put it against a wall (which has some mild scuffing now) and it works really well for what I need it do. I needed some support/comfort on my back while studying, reading, gaming, and something that isn’t pillows to sit on. Which, this does perfectly. I’m also pretty big (5’9 and 210 pounds) so it bring big enough was a big worry for me, but I don’t have a lot of issues. I do have it on carpet and put blankets around it, so I don’t really care if my knees or legs are hanging off. I use this a lot for studying and I will say, after a little bit my butt does start to hurt if I stay in one position in it, but once again, I also like to lay on my side or curl up on this thing, so that fixed that issue for me. Took me awhile to figure out the changing of position on the back (still don’t have it figured out to be honest) but once I found what I liked I didn’t really change it much so it’s not a big issue for me. I have it wedged in a corner and I put a pillow on the side, and it makes it really cozy for watching a movie or taking a nap. I really like this thing and it helps a lot for having something comfortable (that isn’t my bed) to study and hang out on

Its marginally better than stacking all the pillows of the bed. Its sturdy enough for a 170lb guy to be leaning and rocking on it. It might hold up to a 250lb if they are careful with it. My kids would destroy this in no time if they were using it, get them a bean bag. Its not uncomfortable for an hour but after that its time to get up and go for a walk. There are quite a bit of positions between stone flat and straight up, lots of options
