I have the non ir version of this camera. can i just replace the existing te-bcp with this ir version without running wire to the dash again?

No it does not connect to your phone it’s a back up camera it connects to the LED screen in your car. If you do not have an LED screen in your car then there’s no place for you to plug this camera into.
