WORKS WELL!
My Mamiya RB67 Pro S had light leaks. I did 3 shoots in a weekend. When I went to developed the film all the rolls has lines across the film. Telling me that I had light leaks. From memory, I remember seeing a video on YouTube on how to fix it. The video had a link directly to this product. With a little patience and time I was able to fix the problem fairly easily. It saved on money and the waste of further film! I highly recommend buying this! Worth every penny.

Works well for its intended purpose and others
I got a sheet of this to fix the seals in my Canon AE1 program and it worked perfectly, my test roll of film had no light leaks. Now I also rebuilt a vintage keyboard and all the pads under the keys had gotten hard, I ran strips of this stuff under the keys and it stopped the clacking! Its a very tough material, it doesn't tear easily, I ordered another sheet to make sure I have it in stock....

cuts perfectly with a rotary wheel
great product and much better value than pre-cut kits. i use my tabletop rotary paper/photo cutter and it creates perfectly sized strips. 1.5 is fairly all purpose and if you desperately need something deeper you can always use a second strip on top of the first. the majority of the vintage SLRs and rangefinder bodies that I've refoamed seem to use 1.5mm

Buy this over those expensive precut kits
I bought this for my Olympus XA which only had glue from the old light seals. Instead of buying a kit for double the price even triple, I decided to just make my own. If you know the rough shape you need, literally only scissors are needed. The foam is plenty thicc, and when I shut the back door with the seals you can physically tell thereโs resistance from the foam which means itโs sealing up perfectly. I used maybe like 1/100th of the total material they provided so I could probably redo it like 100+ times over with the extra material.

Just what we needed to patch a torn seal in the old Minolta camera I found at a yard sale!

better than OEM pre-cut.
I prefer this over the pre-cut seals. This way there is little if no wasted product. All you need is a razor knife and straight edge...lol.

No more light leaks!
Use your finger to apply a tiny bit of isopropyl on the back of the adhesive as your slipping it in the track. Makes it go much quicker, with much less hair pulling. Otherwise, this stuff works great. Have done a few cameras now and they all no longer leak light. Thumbs up from me.

Difficult to install in narrow channel but still pleased
This review is for 1.5mm foam. I was unsuccessful installing 1.5mm foam into the door edge channels of a Canon TX (FD era 35mm film camera). I could not get the sticky side of the foam to consistently attach to the bottom of the channels. So some of the sticky side ended on the open side of the channel facing where the door edges enter. So, when I closed the film chamber door, the stickiness would hold the door closed. That made it difficult but not impossible to open the door again. I switched to black felt from a fabric store instead of the foam, which seems to work much better for the door edge channels. I will say that the 3mm foam worked great by the door hinge and as the mirror cushion. I have a collection of Canon film cameras so Iโm keeping the 1.5mm foam for future use. Perhaps it would be easier to install 1.5mm into door channels that are wider or perhaps I had trouble because I was inexperienced. Still pleased with the product. Plenty of foam to replace light seals and mirror cushions on at least 15-20 cameras.

Buono articolo ma prezzo troppo alto
L'articolo e' una gommapiuma con lato adesivo. Fa il suo lavoro, ma il prezzo e`ridicolmente alto. Il prodotto che ho ricevuto vale giusto qualche euro. Io ho pagato circa 18 euro piu spedizione. NON comprate a questo prezzo.
