Was as expected a good knife guard which protects the sharpness of the blade.

I bought this for my new 12" Mercer Breaking Knife and it fits perfectly. Completely covers the blade and has a little bit of extra space for safety. A good cover for sharp knives is a must have - don't just dump them in a drawer. The cover protects both you and the knife blade.

The large plastic sheath/blade sleeve from this company is great for my huge vintage garden knife, and better quality than the set I bought for my regular kitchen knives.
