Sogang Korean 1A: Student's Book (2008-08-01) Review: Text book - I ordered this for one of my classes. It was good quality. I think it is best for using in a class, so if you are an independent learner you might benefit more from buying a different book. Review: Great supplement for classroom learning - I signed up for a Korean tutor through the Wyzant app and my tutor told me to get these books in order to follow along with her prepared PowerPoint. I think this is an excellent book if you're being taught by someone, but it is definitely not meant as a teach-yourself book plus it is almost only in Korean, but for my purpose it is great! (P.S. if you need a teach yourself Korean textbook/workbook set check out TTMIK). I taught myself Korean with TTMIK for 5 years and got to the intermediate level, now I have a tutor to teach me everyday conversation, idioms and expressions and to correct my mistakes in real time.

I ordered this for one of my classes. It was good quality. I think it is best for using in a class, so if you are an independent learner you might benefit more from buying a different book.

Great supplement for classroom learning

This is helping me to understand the Korean language and how to properly pronounce vowels, consonants and words. I highly recommend it

From a very puzzled man who cannot start to learn yet
I'm still so confused as to how to use this series. There seems to be a Grammar and Vocabulary Supplementary Book that is nearly impossible to find (unless you want it in Japanese or Spanish). I can't really give a bad review because of my ignorance. If someone finds this mysterious little book (the 1B level is easy to find but obviously I'm not there yet), I'd love for you to let me in on the secret!

Worth the money!
I haven’t used the book much because of time. However, thankful to find them here on Amazon, because shipping from Korea; insane. They came in perfect condition and as described. They are very colorful and not like any other Korean book I have. I cannot wait to dig in.
