Absolutely what I was looking for, I was trying to drill hard metal and was going through drill bits fast. These worked perfectly.

I used them to drill a pilot hole in 1/4” steel and through 1/8” stainless. They cut right through with no problem.

I bought these to drill four 1/4" holes in a tight space with a 90 degree drill adapter. It did the job nicely. I broke a cheaper, lower quality bit before ordering these. It got caught in the hard steel and snapped. Unfortunately I had the same issue with the 1/4" bit in this set, but it only bent slightly. Now it wobbles a little, but still works. I just wish I could buy the 1/4" bit by itself again so I don't have a wobbling bit.

Excellent drill set 💯🤟had to drill out some grade 8 hardware motor mount bolts for a zero turn mower broken/cross threaded mounting bolts...did not want to remove motor...one short bit @ Lowes will cost you $20+...these bits ate through those bolts like a hot knife through 🧈 butter.. excellent quality/value..bits still sharp as can be.

I don't have but one tough project that these worked on, but the bit's worked!!! Held up drilling out about 30 - 1/8" pop rivet heads with steel shanks stuck in them that were challenging. 4 stars because made in CHINA and I like USA made products best for reasons even other than better quality materials, fit & finish. I may update review after I have to drill some stainless steel hex screws or the like. That will be real test for Cobalt. Use proper drill bit speed for Cobalt with slower speed and steady pressure. Watch binding and being "off angle" drilling. Cobalt is brittle and not for soft materials like wood, plastics, and some softer metals.

bought =these bits a year ago and at the time didnt need them so in the tool box. got them out to drill couple holes in some thin Stainless Steel hinge brackets and even using cutting oil all they did is make a little mark on the metalk. of course way to late get back Amazon so thought leave a warning to other buyers. DON'T BUY Them !!!

A must have especially for tight areas. I had to do out a bolt that broke off when replacing a thermostat. This thing cut thru like butter. Make sure tonuse steady pressure and a drill set on slow speed so it can grip and you will be thru in no time. Definitely recommend.

Larger bits remained sharp after multiple holes (5 stars). Smaller bits dulled quickly and are now worthless (1 star). Metal was carbon steel frame on my F150. Average is 3 stars. Great for tight spaces with a right angle drill when they cut.
