Perfect clock, and sound machine. Not too complex, wonderful choice of sounds. I love that the display can be dimmed and you can have a choice of colored night light or not at all. I’m light sensitive at night so this was exactly what I wanted. It’s also not huge so it doesn’t take up a bunch of space on the night stand. It’s well built, seems durable and has usb, or electric plug capability. I sleep really well with the sounds and soft light.

Nice sound machine easy to use. Nice to have a button to brighten the time or lower the brightness. Like the colors I can pick for the machine. Mine was not working after 2 weeks and I emailed the company and they sent a new one even though I purchased this from Amazon. Nice size not to big I can take it with me everywhere. Easy to set the alarm.

We love this clock! We were just making due with what we had, but we finally HAD to get a new alarm clock after waking up several times to the announcements of murder victims on the only radio station our broken down clock could pick up. Don't need to wake in a panic, thanks. We don't sleep with our phones or anywhere near them, and we always loved waking to nature sounds, so this was a no-brainer. Tons of nature sounds and doesn't hook up to phones, which is probably a good thing for these do not have amazing speakers. They're not terrible, but clearly not high end. We love the variety of sounds and while some could be better quality and they could use some deep ocean options, it's really serving its use with delight. We use the timer to listen to a crackling fire as we go to sleep in winter, which has been nice for covering up the sounds of gunshots and sirens (yaaay city life). Overall, our quality of sleep has improved greatly since getting this, even if it's slightly loud and grainy. Could use just one more click down for volume, but it's not the worst. The brightness of the numbers is a dial, which is so much better than button because it's truly customizable and less likely to wear down with time. Absolutely suits our needs and surpasses expectation. I will update if it stops working or reduces in quality. Update: It's been over 3 months now of constant use, and we still love this. Sleep to it every night. Unlike the negative reviews, we've never had any issues with the volume increasing or decreasing in its own, and we still have all controls for sound machine options. We never use the night light, so maybe that's why ours isn't fried. The light is tacky and useless, so I wouldn't recommend buying for the light anyway. I hope this lasts forever. It really hits our every need, and it's so compact.

It’s a nice clock, but the reason I bought one with battery back up was so it would continue working if the power went out. The battery only saves your clock and alarm settings while power is out. It will not stay on nor will the alarm work if the power is out. We have above ground wires and lots of trees where I live, so it is not unusual for the power to go out, and I need something to stay on in those cases. Trying to find something besides a phone that can do that…

We recently started using the Buffbee Sound Machine & Alarm Clock 2‑in‑1 and have been mostly impressed. The selection of white noise and nature sounds is versatile and easy to switch between, which helps us wind down at night without distracting controls or lights. The sound quality is rich and soothing and truly helps drown out street noise. The alarm clock feature is dependable and the gentle wake-up sound is much nicer than a jarring beep. The display brightness is adjustable and can be dimmed to avoid disrupting a dark room. Setting everything up was easy and intuitive. On the downside the larger buttons can be awkward in the dark until you get used to them and the battery backup doesn’t last very long without being plugged in. I also wish the unit had a USB charging port for phones because it does sit right next to our bed. Overall this is a great addition to any bedroom if you want a reliable sound machine with alarm features. It isn’t perfect, but its calming functionality and ease of use make it worth considering.

I’ve used mine for a couple weeks now and I’m in love with it!! It looks so stylish on the nightstand, and is very compact. I love all the different sound and lighting options it has. Alarm feature is nice too.

Great alarm clock and sound machine! I got this to avoid having my phone in the room where I sleep. The sound machine feature is great, with tons of settings to choose from. There are not many alarm tones to choose from, but it does the job. One thing I did not anticipate is that when the alarm goes off it will automatically shut off the sound machine too, and you have to manually press resume on the sound machine if you want to snooze. Not my favorite feature but I suppose it's effective for actually making you wake up! I like that both the night light feature and the glow of the alarm clock can be dimmed all the way so that you have no extra light in the room. Great affordable option to minimize technology in the room while providing both sound machine and alarm clock features!

Like other reviews stated, the LEDs started fading out about 6 months after I started using it. This is my only complaint. I like the style, the alarm sound options and the ease of use. I've had it for 10 months and one of the numbers is almost completely gone. Would love to get a replacement if they've checked the problem.

Bought for my 7 year old sons room. After looking at the instructions that came in the box it was super easy to set up and figure out how it all worked. The clock was simple to set and it is nice that there is a dimmer on it. The nightlight has all colours ROYGBIV and goes back the the last colour you picked when you turn it on. It is the perfect amount of light for a night light imo. The sound machine is good, I’m happy with the selection of sounds and the quality of the speaker. I’m kind of picky with white noise and I liked option 1. My son like to sleep to the babbling brook and it is quite relaxing to go in and listen. There is a timer that you can set if you want to turn off the nightlight and sounds together we pick the longest option of 120min, presumably both would stay on indefinitely if you chose not to use the timer but not positive on that. We haven’t had it for long but I am super happy with this purchase the 3 in 1 was exactly what I was looking for. There was a QR code in the instructions that brings you to an instructional video, but I didn’t watch it yet as I was able figure out all the functions we need thus far from the paper. I’m sure I will watch it eventually and maybe learn a few more functions.

It has a good variety of sounds and can be calming while trying to sleep. The sound quality is average. It would be nice to have more melodies in addition to the natural sounds. I won't function without electricity.

This noise machine / alarm clock is Da Bomb. Wasn't expecting much, considering the price. But it's good qualiy and quite stylish and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Gave the instructions a quick read over and it explained everything really well. It's very logically designed and after playing with it for a bit, I was able to change settings even in the dark. For how small it is, it's good a really good sound. It's got 18 different sounds. You can adjust what sound you want, the volume of the sound and it even has a timer for the sounds and lights. You can also adjust the level of brightness for the display right down to invisible in the light. You can set the sound to turn off anywhere from 15 min to 2 hours. During the week I set it to turn off the sound after 2 hours and on weekends I just let it play till morning. I like the babbling brook sound the best so far. If could change or add anything it would be to add glow in the dark icons to the top setting buttons, so you could see them in pitch black. Also it would be very cool if you could download replacement sounds from online. Other than that it's a great little sound / alarm doo hickey. =) I haven't used the alarm feature and probably won't as I like my alarm clock I already have. I've had it for about a week at this time. I highly recommend buying one as it's good quality, simple to operate, looks smart, sounds good and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Five star purchase if you ask me, very happy I purchased it. It gets me excited to go to sleep at night. =)
