A Nice and Affordable Weather Station
We purchased the Hodik HD Color Display Weather Station to replace the black and white one we had for 10 years only bc it finally ran out of years. The Hodik was the one that caught our eye bc of its screen features, the color display and affordability. After reading over the instructions a few times to get familiar with the buttons and the set-up process, we were able to get it up and running w a minimum amount of trouble. The weather station has great signal strength, is very visible, it’s easy to read, and looks nice on our shelf. There are 3 screen settings (bright, low, and off) that you access with just a tap on the top of the screen. We’re happy with our purchase!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Weather Wizard at Home! 🌦️⏰🛰️ Verified Purchase – Weather Station with Atomic Clock Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Wireless, Humidity and Temperature Monitor, Barometer, Hygrometer – High Precision Sensor (White) Last purchased: December 18, 2024 Owning my own personal weather station feels like bringing NOAA into my living room—but with better style and way less bureaucracy. This isn’t just a gadget. It’s a full-on home atmospheric command center. Temperature? Check. Humidity? Dialed. Barometric pressure? Right on the money. And that atomic clock? Always accurate—because unlike your cousin’s watch, this one actually syncs with the government (and gets it right). I’ve placed the outdoor sensor out on the deck and it’s giving me hyper-local readings that are far more relevant than what I see on my phone. The high-precision sensor means I can now accurately plan when to grill steaks or remind the kids to grab a coat. Plus, watching the barometric trends is oddly satisfying—it’s like having a Wall Street ticker for the sky. In an age where productivity and precision are king—thank you, Art Laffer and Adam Smith—the deflationary value of this little weather marvel is unbeatable. We’re living in an age of abundance, and this proves you don’t have to spend a fortune to get high-tech tools once reserved for meteorologists. Pros: Accurate indoor/outdoor temps Atomic clock that just works Elegant design with clear readout Hygrometer + barometer? Yes, please. Set it and forget it simplicity Final verdict? If you care about the weather—and let’s be honest, who doesn’t—grab this. It’s a game changer and a reminder that a bit of tech and data can make every day run smoother. #HomeWeatherStation #AtomicClock #SmartLiving #DIYMeteorologist #WeatherReady

Good weather station but with some flaws.
I really wanted to like this weather station and for the most part I do but it does have a flaw and a minor irritant. The station is easy to set up if you read the instructions. The screen is very bright with big numbers and is very easy to read and has great viewing angles. The only angle that is no good is if you have to look up at it. Side angles are great and better than all my other weather stations but for some reason the screen fades if you have to look up at it. This is also a problem with every other weather station I own. I'm not sure why this can't be corrected since every other angle including looking down to it is great. The indoor and outside remote temperatures and humidity reading are very accurate but the barometric pressure is way off and never corrected and calibrated correctly. It's default reading is 29.88 in/hg when you first power it on but after a month now its always .25 to .30 inhg lower than my actual barometric pressure. I had to eventually change the reading myself to the correct pressure which you can do but I shouldn't have to do this and I didn't have to do this on any of my other weather stations. But now that I did it's accurate. So just be aware that you may have to eventually set the correct pressure reading yourself. Now the one thing that irks me. On every other weather station I own and ever owned the outdoor/remote reading on the main screen was always in a cool color shade either blue, white, or purple while the indoor reading would be a warm color shade like red or orange. This unit has it backwards with the remote temperature a warm yellow color and the indoor a cool blue shade. This may not be an issue for you but considering I'm used to seeing cool shade colors for remote outdoor readings and warm hues for indoor readings this really irks me that they did it this way. Another thing that may bother some people is that all the setting buttons with the exception of the light button are on the back of the unit so if you mount this unit on the wall you will have to take it off to use any of the buttons like see the high and low temperature for the day. I wish the high and low daily temperature was shown all the time on the screen like my accurite weather station shows but you can still view them by pressing a button on the back of the unit. Overall this is a very good but not great weather station and is a good value for the money I paid for it. I like it but don't love it because of the reasons mentioned above. LIKES Very bright screen with great viewing angles. Large display with big bright numbers. Shows current moon phase. Temperature and Humidity readings are very accurate. DISLIKE Barometric pressure reading was way off and never calibrated itself correctly, I had to manually set it to correct it. The color scheme for the indoor and outdoor temperatures readings are backwards. This bother me but may not be an issue for you. I wish the daily high and low temperature readings were always shown on the screen instead of having to press a button on the back of the unit to see them.

I used to depend on watching the nightly news to get the forecast for my area but I find they have been less than reliable of late. I turn more frequently to a government website to get an idea of what type of weather is coming down the pipeline but even that is hit-or-miss at times. I’ve always been curious about these home weather stations. This one features a fairly large display (7-1/2”) which is colourful. The display shows the time, day of the week, date and moon phase. You can select Celsius or Fahrenheit. It shows barometric pressure, humidity levels plus things like weather forecast and trend and daily minimum/maximum data. The brightness level of the screen is adjustable or can be darkened completely. The main unit has a sensor and there is a remote which can be positioned outdoors or on another level of your home to record information there. The Atomic is not available in Canada so us hosers will need to set the date and time manually, eh! The weather station can support 3 sensor but the unit comes with one. I’m not sure how much important moon phase will be for me but humidity levels are of extreme interest to me due to my arthritis. I’ll know if it is going to be a bad day or not just by the humidity levels. I’ve never understood barometric pressure but I do know that I usually get a migraine when there is a change in the barometric pressure. I’ll need to learn more about it but it may help me to manage my headaches better if I know there’s a good chance of one coming on due to the weather. I am just starting to learn about how the weather is tracked and calculated but this week will be interesting. It is supposed to hit 28C tomorrow but drop down to 5C at night next week. I’ll be watching to see how accurate the weather station is and what other tidbits about the weather it can offer. Not only is this convenient but it can be an interesting family project of learning about weather together. I know I am enjoying being my own forecaster. The cost of the weather station in April 2025 was $14.99 Item reviewed: *Weather Station with Manual Setting Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Wireless, Humidity and Temperature Monitor Barometer Hygrometer with High Precision Sensor CA *I include the item reviewed original listing in the event that the listing is changed over time. This Hodik weather station is a great addition to any home as it provides reliable information and functionality that is useful to any homeowner. Setup of the weather station is really straightforward: simply add 2 AA batteries to the remote sensing unit, mount it outside in an appropriate location, and setup and plug in the weather station screen. There is some initial setup to do to ensure the weather station is providing accurate information (such as setting the time zone and current atmospheric pressure), but the manual has easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions that get this accomplished in just a few minutes. I have been tracking the accuracy of this device against both my local weather service information and other devices I have that read temperature and humidity and the Hodik weather station seems to maintain a reasonably high level of accuracy. I love that the screen has two brightness levels and the ability to turn the screen off just by tapping the top of the frame - this is really handy if you have your device at your bedside and want to keep it dark for sleep. There are a number of functions that add to the weather station's usefulness: barometric pressure is tracked over a 12-hour period, temperature and humidity trends are shown, there's high and low temperature alerts, the daily min/max can be viewed and there's even an alarm so this device can wake you up in the morning. Personally, I think this is a great device to have on the nightstand to be viewed when you wake up in the morning, as it tells you a lot about what to expect once you decide to venture outside! I will note that the listing for this device says that: "Atomic is not available in Canada, you need to set the date and time manually". This is not entirely true as many areas of Canada outside of the far north and far east can receive a signal from the WWVB radio transmission in Boulder, Colorado. I'm in Edmonton, about 600 kilometers north of the US border, and my clock picks up the transmission no problem at all and is keeping perfect time. So if you do get this clock give the atomic clock feature a try, you may just be surprised at the result!

I’m quite taken with this little weather station. The build quality feels good, and I really like the oversize screen. I find the black background easier on the eyes than standard screens, and the colour display is very attractive. It also hosts quite a bit of information, from date/time, to moon phase, weather forecast, etc. The screen comes with an AC adapter, but it can also be used with 3 AA batteries, if you prefer. I like that you can change the screen’s power settings by tapping the backlight/standby button at the top (you can choose from full, low power, or off). A temperature probe is included, and it requires 2 AA batteries (which aren’t included). One of the neatest features is that the receiver/screen can also communicate with temperature probes from some other generic brands. I’m currently using another brand on our porch, and this immediately picked up the signal as soon as I plugged it in. That can allow you to monitor other probes by setting them to different channels and then switching between them on the screen. Setup is a bit confusing at first, but it’s easy once you get the hang of it. When you plug it in, press and hold the “Mode” button for three seconds, and then you’ll enter the edit mode where you can change the date, time, etc. The manual is helpful and easy to understand if you run into any trouble. This appears to be a solid little unit, and my ever-worsening eyesight really appreciates the larger screen. When I ordered it the price was listed at $14.99, which I think is a phenomenal deal for a product of this quality. No price is currently listed though, so I’m going to provisionally give this 4 stars in case the price changes. 4 stars

I picked this up hoping it’d make the morning scramble a little smoother—and honestly, it's been surprisingly useful. The screen is big, bright, and easy to read even from across the room, which is great when you’re juggling school lunches and trying to guess if the kids need raincoats or sunscreen. Setup was pretty easy, though I did have to tinker a bit with the settings. The instructions are clear, but the buttons are all on the back, so adjusting anything means flipping it around—not ideal if you’ve already mounted it. I really like the outdoor sensor showing temp and humidity both on the station and directly on the sensor itself. That little screen on the sensor is actually handy when I’m in the garage or on the porch. You can connect up to three sensors if you want to track different zones (like backyard, front porch, maybe even the greenhouse if you’re fancy). It doesn’t cycle through them automatically though—you have to press a button on the back each time, which is a bit clunky. The atomic clock actually worked here in Alberta, which surprised me—I figured it wouldn’t pick up the signal, but it synced up perfectly in a few minutes. Just be aware it doesn’t work in every part of Canada. Also, it doesn’t offer all time zones (if you’re in Newfoundland or Atlantic, that could be a dealbreaker). As for accuracy, I compared it to a couple other thermometers I have, and it was within half a degree. The humidity seems solid too. Plus, I love that it shows trends over time and includes moon phases—my daughter’s oddly obsessed with the moon right now, so that’s been a fun bonus. My only real gripe is the overly sensitive touch area on top. I keep accidentally turning the display off or dimming it when I try to adjust something else. But the option to dim or shut off the display is a lifesaver if you have it in a bedroom—no glowing light show while you’re trying to sleep. All in all, it's a solid weather station for everyday family use. It gives you a quick glance at what’s going on without needing to open a weather app or look out the window in your pajamas. Not perfect, but definitely helpful.

Weather Station with Manual Setting Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Wireless, Humidity and Temperature Monitor Barometer Hygrometer with High Precision Sensor CA. The weather station has a nice looking screen with different colors to separate the different measurements and make them stand out. It is bright but can be dimmed (bright, dim, off) using a touch location at the top. The screen has a built in stand to sit it on a desk or counter and it also has built in hangers to mount it on the wall. The device is powered using plug in power supply, or it can be run off a battery. In battery mode, the screen light shuts off after 10 seconds of no use to preserve power. When plugged in, it stays on if you want it on. The weather station supports 3 different sender units at the same time, but only displays 1 at a time. You can select which one displays, but it doesn't cycle them if you have more than 1. That is an inconvenience because the select switch is on the back, so you have to take it off the wall to change channels. The weather sender units are nice and have a switch so you can select which channel each sender unit operates on. Each one also displays its own temperature and humidity on a small LCD screen on the front of the sender device. They work well and seem to have lots of range. The temperature was accurate enough. It measured within 0.5 degrees of another more precise and trusted temperature device I have. I was able to easily set the time and functions of the weather station. There were only 4 time zones (PST, MST, CST, EST) available and I was able to cycle between them. I couldn't find an Atlantic time zone (AST) nor Newfoundland time zone (NST). Since I am in the Atlantic time zone, this is useless to me. I like the look of this weather station and it works fine for measuring temperature, but it has a few minor annoyances, especially with the time and channel selection.
