Hey, baby! Look at these faces! Review: My baby loooves this boook - Get it! Your baby will love it. Review: Great first book for tiniest readers! - This is a great first book for the tiniest readers. If you start a baby with this thick-paged book when they're three months old, they will respond to the faces. This is an excellent way to introduce babies to books as well. Later they'll ask "again" for Mo Willem's book Knuffle Bunny when they grow a year older. If you want your child to avoid ADHD or worse health problems, get them hooked on books instead. Do not give them any screens to hold, ever. Search the Environmental Health Trust for more information on how to raise a healthy child in that respect. Model the wisdom by valuing your child over your own cellphone. And Wi-Fi works less well than a wired ethernet connection and a wired landline phone. It's not that hard. All the best to your and your child! You will have more energy, too! Try it tonight: unplug your Wi-Fi and turn off your cellphone and computers. Wake up refreshed and spend time with your wonderful baby! Your next book? Disconnect, by Devra Davis...which shows the disconnect between the science showing harm from the radiation from wireless devices and the way US society uses wireless technology blind to the invisible pollution from its radiation.

A Favorite
Our gran just turned one, and this board book has been a favorite for months. Simple and engaging.

Too bad no more pictures are allowed, but cute book!
They've disabled the photo feature for whatever reason (google it and add "pocnetwork" to your search and you'll find some info on that), so I can't show you the book, but it is cute and definitely worth $5. It is bigger than I expected and a great size for my 7month old boy. He particularly like the "yucky" and "stinky" faces lol He was slapping the pages. I took of a star bc it is only like 6 pages. Babies have a short attention span so to make books work for them you need to move through the book quickly just so they can turn pages and hear you describe things, not necessarily stare at one page for minutes, thus making only 6 pages the smart thing to do. Instead, we're just finished with it in 30 seconds. When he lays on the floor with it, he looks at it for longer, obviously, but it is still pushed away or he gets distracted within a few seconds. He still really seems to like it, and it is nice and simple to get through, only one face one one pages, and a short word/words on the other. It is refreshing as some baby books just have WAY too much visual stimulation going on to make it worthwhile. I am glad I got this and would consider it as a gift for friends who are expecting.

Still the best book for babies after 26 years
This was my daughter's favorite book when she was a baby (now 26yrs old). I always give this book as a gift to expecting moms I know. I have been told by many that it is also their child's favorite book.

Such a great book for babies
I absolutely love this book for babies and all the babies in my life are drawn to this book! Seeing themselves in the pages and the expressions really engage them! I buy this book for baby showers and first birthdays!

Did not like
Maybe others will like this book because it shows different types of faces/moods, but I did not like it because every face was something negative. I felt so negative flipping through it with my baby. I returned it

Only 7 faces, and only 2 happy ones.
I expected more than 7 baby faces (only 2 of which were happy). The listing does mention the size of the book, so I should've known it is only palm size. But the faces on the page are nice and big. Baby likes it, but it won't keep him entertained for long.
