Wonderful company
Could not get it started, straight from the box, which is a shame. It looks good, has all the features I want but the box is of more use, the children are playing shop. That was my original review, which I stand by. The manufacturer contacted me before I could contact them, after some interaction with the manufacturers the genny still would not start and they initiated a full refund. Now I cannot fault their customer service and this more than made up for the generator issue. Everyone makes mistakes and it is how we resolve those mistakes. This company has excellent customer service. May I point out I was never asked to change my review

Damaged and defective - Customer service is useless
So, when the generator was running it was great, quite quiet, and had enough power to run my coffee machine van well below 75% capacity. HOWEVER, despite following the instructions for filling the oil, it had a small(ish) oil leak, the machine would shut with the oil light coming on. Used it yesterday, checked the oil, worked great for a couple of hours then blew out and now it's completely dead. I have been E-Mailing Maxspeedingrods to get a resolution because amazon have a 30 day return on it so I can't just return it. They want to see pictures, they want to see videos, I gave them pictures and they're trying to troubleshoot the product when I told them it has stopped working completely by sending me a picture of an unrelated product and it's at a pace of 1 message a day so I'm not getting anywhere. I just want to return the generator, it's been nothing but a pain and has crippled my business start up.

Still running reliably after 400hrs, but electric start intermittent.
I've now had this for five months and have put 400hrs onto it in all sorts of weather. It's been completely reliable except for the electric start, which isn't reliable and I don't even bother with now. It starts just fine from the pull cord. It's a big generator and frankly the noise is less than you would expect, especially on eco mode. But it's certainly not silent. Pulling the full inrush current on a 240v/12A log splitter is easy for it - something my smaller 3.5Kw generator couldn't cope with. Voltage is rock steady and waveform is close to pure sine. A good buy, except for the poor electric start.

Totally unreliable
We purchased it a year and half ago and used it only several times. it was maintained well, but after we tried to use it again this year, it just did not start. when we brough it to the local service centre they had many other gnerators of the same producer, all out of order and requiring expensive repair. its better to buy something from more reliable producer than paying double for the repair and not having any backup when you need it

Nice looking genny.
Nice looking genny and very quiet in use. Shame it didn't come with the remote control or bottle of engine oil. Apart from that it run fine for the first time for 5.2 hours before I turned it off due to batteries were full.

Not as described
I bought this generator to operate my converted horsebox. It has more watts than needed to power the equipment I used. It claims to be quiet, 62 decibels. My coffee machine did not get enough power to fill the water boiler. I ran it on eco mode and it claimed to be using 25% load yet I got a noise complaint which insinuates it was much louder than advertised. It never ran smoothly regardless of what setting I used. I checked the air filter, even though it was a brand new generator and you can see by the photo there clearly was a problem as the air filter was only a portion of a filter. The manufacturer is slow at helping me problem solve not even sending replacement parts. It used 4 full tanks of fuel on only 15 hours of operation. A tank should have lasted 10+ hours based on the load it was running. I had to close my coffee cart after my first 4 hours of operation. It was one disappointment after the next.

Its a good genny
Its a good generator. Couple of points. Fuelling is a little messy and certainly don't do it whilst its running. Shame it does not have a automatic transfer switch (ATS). I cannot stress how important it is to purchase the extra warranty as you probably might well need it ( I did) . So yeah its not a bad genny maybe just a little pricey for a grand.

Lovely machine
Starts within a couple of turns. Remote starting is a great feature. Silent is probably a bit far fetched but it is very quiet for a machine this size. One thing I would of like to have seen in the box is an extension for the exhaust so that it can be fed out and away from the van.
