works great on old seashells and tile and grout
we bought this to to dunk seashells in to remove white deposits. works great! we wore protective gloves, eye protection, and a mask and did it outside. a good way to see what your shell will look like after dipping it into the acid you can wet it with just water and see if the colors are there. we had some pretty old shells that were left outside. we also used it on water deposits in the shower. just a quick spray and rinse and then seal it. For the seashells you can dunk them in a bucket for 3 seconds and then rinse and plain water. we used tongs and rubber gloves but they acid doesn't burn your skin unless you have a cut. just follow instructions or there are YouTube videos on how to use it for seashells.

Wow!!
I bought this to clean some planter water / soil stains off my concrete, and read that it's good for lime build up in sinks. I've had a terrible looking drain in one of our bathrooms and no amount of scrubbing, chemicals or steam would remove the residue. I poured a bit of acid magic with water, and 3 minutes and some gentle bristle scrubbing later, the drain area is like new. Wow. Very impressed!! Photos show "before" and "after."

Look all around the neighborhood for your order
The acid works great. Canโt say the same thing about the delivery. Was delivered to the complete wrong address. Just got lucky and saw it

Toilets that caused a fright turned perfectly white!
I should have taken "before" and "after" pictures, but the "before" picture would have been just plain gross. Both of our toilets had taken on ubiquitous brown and black crusty stains because of our hard well water. Any visitor to our house might believe that we're not in the habit of flushing our toilets. Scrubbing and scouring had no effect whatsoever, so it was just plain embarrassing to have guests at our home. I remembered something from school that iron becomes aqueous in an acid environment. But the thought of dumping acid into our septic system seemed dubious. I did a little poking around in amazon and discovered this product, which states that it will not harm septic systems. I took a chance and bought a gallon of this product. I sloshed a bit into both of our toilets, and after waiting about 10 minutes or so I scrubbed each of them with a toilet brush and was surprised to see the brown and black stains disappearing. With just a little bit of elbow grease, both toilets were restored to a like-new appearance! If you have a toilet that is stained by hard water, BUY this product! It works like magic!

Couldn't beleive it
Acid container was damaged and had been taped over. I also bought some from the store too and it works better than using dry acid. I still wear protective gear such as a 3M vapor mask, saftly glasses and chemical gloves to be on the safe side. I found a spout for it and pour samll amounts in front of the jets while the pump is on so it circulates and just dosen't fall to the bottom as it weights more than water does. I am not going to mess with handling it twice because I am diluting it as I add to the pool water anyway. I do move it around so not to pour to much in one spot either and again I do have a protective gear on. I learned it is suppose to take 25.6 oz of 31.45% acid to lower TA 10 ppm in a 10,000 gal pool. This container is 128 oz so that means 1 gal has the potential to lower your TA 50 ppm. I can't say I am getting those exact results, but it did lower my PH from 8+ to 7.4. Of course you have to watch letting ph get to low before areating to increase PH and then you can contine to lower the TA by using more acid. I feel like Dr Frankinstien! One thing I recently learned is number 1 priority is making sure you have enough FC chorine in your water first because it oxidizes and if it doesn fully accomplish that. it does not convert the chlorine chemical into HCI a form of acid that reduces PH/TA, then move onto PH/TA testing etc. update: I read somewhere Acid Magic strength is 31.45% my experience is it is not correct. There is no % amount stated on the container I look at mine because you can't even zoom in on the label here. After I test my ph with Taylor regents and then reference their guide for 31.45% muratic acid, it tells me how much to add to reach the desired PH level. It takes me twice the amount of Acid Magic, so it's not only less fumes and doesn't burn, it is weaker too, I'm guessing 28 - 15% area so you will use more but it works better IMO than dry acid which is expensive too. I won't use the regular harsh acid which is more dangerous to handle. I did find the Acid Magic will ruin an mental like a razor or skew driver you might use to get the seal off with. I didn't even touch the liquid just the seal so it is quite corrosive.
