Really handy to have
I don't know why I never bought a set of these before. Needed to start an old blazer I never drive anymore and didn't have a side post battery that would hold a charge, and couldn't really justify buying another batter for it just to sit around and go bad. used these to start it with a top post and it worked fine. Going to get a couple sets just to keep around in case I need them from now on. They did not seem to affect the cranking power of the battery at all.

Optima top post. Had to use brass bushings from the hardware store.
These are great since they are made of aluminum instead of lead. For some reason other reviewers think this is bad! Why do you think all old houses had Aluminum wiring? Because its a great conductor! Its harder than lead and will definitely not strip as easy. I wish they made a longer version for the optima, but no big deal, I just went to the harware store and bought some brass bushings and a couple 3/8 allen bolts to install the cables. Still working good and saved me from buying a new battery. (Optima came out of my drag car thats layed up for winter). Would give 5 stars if it fit.

Great fit and Value!
This set of battery terminal connectors is just what we needed for our situation! Sometimes you have a good battery but different post's or ways to connect the cables. This is very a well made adaptor set of connectors for the money spent!

It's ok to use just be careful
Tightening down the terminal resulted in the arm snapping. Not great quality, but I was able to use the second one so I didnt have to do a return.
