XLS 21 Proximity Badge Card, Employee Payroll TIME Clock Package

Wow! what an upgrade from our previous "Card-Type" Punch clock. I love the Proximity card and key chain fobs!! And as a backup they use their birthday as a pin # to punch in. Got the memory stick(because it's not 'wired in' to a computer) and I just go to the machine and download the Attendance log to the stick..then go to computer and upload to software. The software is AMAZINGLY simple to use..I was surprised how easy it is. So, so, so, very, very, very happy happy happy with purchase!!! Thank-you for such a great product!! I would Recommend to any small business.

Hate this thing. Had it installed on one computer and wanted to put it on another computer while the original one got repaired—unsuccessful with that.

It does keep track of an employee's time if they punch in at 8 and out at 5. That's about the best you can hope for. I guess my needs are unique in that my employee's would like to know exactly how many hours they've worked in a shift or week. The only feedback this clock provides is a "Thank you" for swiping your card. It doesn't even let you know if you're coming in or going out. I have employees that punch in and out multiple times a day. They literally do not know if they're coming or going if they relied on this clock to tell them. The software is simple, so expect no bells or whistles. Unfortunately, I have to return this unit because it simply does not meet my needs, and I frankly know no one whose needs it can meet.

Set-up instructions were confusing but phone support was prompt and walked us thru every issue.

We continue to be happy with this product after several years of use. It simply works and has never lost a punch. This package may be simple but I have found it to do everything we need it to. I understand the recent update even allows export directly to Quickbooks. (I hope to try this on my next Quickbooks upgrade.) I would buy again.

I have had this for a few years now. The software looks like it is straight out of Windows 3.1 and if you need to do anything to the software they force you to call tech support which is $80 - $150.
