Although I did buy one of the Cool Things books for myself and eventually passed it down to my granddaughter. I just received what I believe is her latest book. It is about how to draw those little Kawaii anime characters. They are cute little animals. They are relatively simple and pretty easy to draw. I gave it to my younger granddaughter yesterday. She loves it! She has already drawn a couple of the characters. She tells me they are a little easier to draw than the projects in her other books. Rachel Goldstein's learn to draw books are always great. Her step by step instructions are easy for youngsters to follow. I highly recommend them. Even if your youngster is not a fan of these anime characters I believe they will enjoy drawing them. Review: Super cute book! - I love this book. I recently found out about kawaii and can't get enough of it. This book makes it very easy to draw all my own characters and animals in the kawaii style. It is rather long too - it has entertained me for hours and I am only half way done. Although it is marketed for kids I am an adult and love it!
