Q: My well is 400 feet deep. I want to know when the water gets down to 300 feet. How can I do that with this product?

Dear customer, You can extend our low water level detectors with copper core cables. Of course, use fishing line to tie other heavy objects at the buckle position at the bottom of the float probe to ensure that the probe is in a vertical downward position. Hope it helps you, thanks!

Q: Is this item UL listed?

Generally low voltage items are not required to be UL listed or tested. In this case only 120VAC adapter would be UL listed/tested but it does not include one.

Q: When used indoors (no sun / no solar charge), can it be left plugged into a USB power source so it always has power?

The product comes standard with a USB DC charging cable, which can be plugged in and used indoors. (adapter not included).
