However, assembling the holder can be tricky, and I’ve made mistakes a couple of times. If the label isn’t placed perfectly straight in the printer, it tends to print out distorted or stretched, likely due to the feet not engaging correctly with the bottom pins. I only have 1 frame and 8 rolls** A: Unlike the frame on the Brother-brand roll, this frame pulls apart. Pull the two halves STRAIGHT out from each other (do not twist). Put a new roll on the frame, and then put them back together. There is a piece of plastic on one half of the frame that fits into a notch on the other half, to help you put them together correctly. **Q: Is the dk-2205 compatible with the ql-810w?** A: I have been using the DK 2205 labels on the Brothers QL-720W impact printer for my product labels with much success. However, we did, and I'm extremely glad we did. My wife runs a small Boutique and receives clothing daily, so we print a lot of labels. It cost us a fortune using OEM labels. We tried these and have zero complaints. The Brother printer is attached to our Clover POS and has not given us any issues. The labels stick securely to our clothing tags, and it is easy to change out in the printer. The cost per roll is about one quarter of the OEM roll, to make money you must be frugal and find the best products at the lowest price.
