Easy to install! My thumbstick broke off my 3DS XL a few years ago and this is a perfect replacement. Feels just like the original. The tools included are nice and make it easy. Just look up a video tutorial if you’re confused. It seemed to stick at first, but pressing on it clicked it into place. Also, make sure your volume slider is in the right position before reassembling.

Still not perfect, but so so much better than the replacement circle pads I used 5 or so years ago which were too small and chipped easily. This one looks pretty close to OEM, glides well, and is the correct size. It is still not rubber like OEM, but feels plenty grippy and will get the job done. The included tools are also pretty good for this and other projects!

Feels and looks great. The size, like others have mentioned, is a tad smaller than the original circle pad, but it’s only half a millimeter smaller so take that as you will. The pad doesn’t feel like the original due to it not having that silicone coating on top, but its half has enough grip and a soft enough feel for it to be comfortable. Happy with my purchase! 5⭐️👍

The kit as a whole is good. The tools are what you need and nothing more. The screw driver handle was just ok but the tweezers and spudgers where good. The stick itself seems to be the exact same as what it had originally and fit correctly. It looks good and feels like the original. They also came in a little snap case which was surprising. I'll update if I have anything to add but can at this stage recommend.

Was originally just looking for the buttons as I typically don't like adding to my collection of random tools I'll never use again lol, but they are nice to get the job done with nothing else. Also the tweezers are really nice so I'll be using that for other stuff, as well as the pry tools. Comes with three screw bits, pretty sure you only need one to remove the back plate, then the cover, and finally the joystick assembly. Be sure to take out your SD card before lifting off the cover. Also, there's a screw hidden behind the game cartridge as well as underneath the two small rubber feet on the back. The actual analog stick is great! Feels pretty similar to the original from what I remember. Just look up a tutorial on youtube and it takes like five minutes. It needs to be seated properly back in the joystick assembly/board, so if it's not moving smoothly, it's not in properly. Also be sure to reseat the thin, plastic gaskets.

Easier than expected to install, works flawlessly.

This is easy enough to do but the joystick doesn’t slide atop the 3DS very smoothly like the original does. It’s a sticky, tacky, brittle-plastic-on-brittle-plastic result that makes gameplay harder.

This is such an amazing product that comes with everything you need and more! I couldn’t believe how useful the entire package was with all the little tools that come in the kit. Highly recommend!

Tool kit was excellent addition. Parts fit my 3DS perfectly. Easy change out. The one trick I wish I had watched a video on was to use the slot to rotate out the thumb stick from the hole. And the black plastic ring has a split to come apart. Once I had it apart it was so easy to go back together.
