I do not usually write reviews. I should as I rely on them a lot when I am researching a product to purchase. I have been using this shower door for about 6 months now and I am beyond happy. I was very hesitant in the functionality of a bifold shower door. I was concerned about it breaking either by the hinge or hitting the shower wall. Neither of these things have happened so far. It does not open overly “swingy” so it has not hit the shower wall and the hinge is working great still. I have hard water as I am on a well. I do have a water softener, but even with it my water is still a little hard. I do dry it and my shower walls after every shower. It looks almost brand new still. I was missing a cover for the hinge. I contacted their tech support and they sent me the part with no hassle. It did take a little bit, but I got it fine. I also purchased a bifold door from Sunny Shower at the same time. It was a different size and finish (chrome). I have to say it has not performed as well. It opens a little too quickly, so I put on a sticky clear rubber to prevent it from breaking and it shows water spots even after drying it. It also has a cover on top of the side walls that is cheaply made of plastic and keeps falling off. I have not been happy with that purchase. I would definitely replace it with this brand.

I installed this door in a 36"x36" shower where there wasn't really enough space to open a single door outward. The bifold design works well for this space in my own home. This ExBrite one is excellent. It is well made, and looks fantastic. The instructions are clear, and all pieces fit together beautifully. It took me about 45 minutes to install, working carefully. (I am a contractor.) I would buy this again or recommend to my clients without hesitation.

I actually hated this door at first because I didn’t read the directions and had the door fold out like a traditional bifold door, not fold in like it is designed to. Now that I realize that directions are written for a reason, it is actually very nice. It does not leak, it seals when shut, it is sturdy and best of all, it doesn’t get that gross mildew smell or stain like a curtain would. However, the reason I gave 4 stars is because the hinges are a bit sticky, so it doesn’t fold without giving a little encouragement by pushing on the middle seam. That aside, I do recommend this product.

it is INCREDIBLE. it’s so much nicer than i thought it would be. i’m a contractor so i install a lot of these and most are hit and miss especially the non main name brands, this one was so easy to install and it looks soooo nice

I ordered this a few weeks ago. Finally had time to install this past wknd of December 14,15,and 16. The quality is very good, I think. You need 2 people to balance and carry the door to its bracket to make it close to perfectly level, but the rest of the process can be done with 1. Looks great. Trick is sealing every spot on the inside that water will touch. Measure 6 times on every location. The pieces will vibrate loose when you use drill. It probably would go faster with a second person and easier. No regrets though. Happy with door. This is the ONLY single door frame I found that was close to my shower frame measurements.

Really glad I took a chance on this door as I installed it yesterday and it looks great -- just like the photos in the description. Nothing about it makes it particularly tricky to install, and the instructions are decent. It took me a solid 6 hours to do it alone as a fairly handy DIYer, but a lot of that was drilling the necessary holes through porcelain tile which takes forever and then the caulking at the end. Haven't taken a shower yet since the silicone takes 24 hours to cure, but I'll update this if there's any issues. By the way, I didn't have studs available, but the instructions explicitly say you can use drywall anchors. The ones they provide are really flimsy though, so I'd recommend getting something more secure. I used toggle bolts which required pretty big holes, but I feel good about it and am glad I did.

overall, its not horrible. But definite design flaws. If your handy, it can be dealt with. However the vertical and horizontal gaskets do not seal where they meet. Instructions do not make it clear if they should overlap, or just butt up against each other. I've tried both ways. both leak. The threshold does not seem compatible with this unit. Using the plastic end pieces puts it too far from the door when its closed. Causing leakage. You can move the threshold, but you'll have gaps at both ends and the round piece will not fit. With the threshold in the middle it will provide a better seal with the bottom door gaskets. But again, will not seal at the ends. Ive researched these models and have not found this threshold on any other one. Im guessing they have updated this, so hope to get answers monday as they are closed on the weekend. They do seem responsive when called as I got a text after my call to find out they were closed.

It looks great, and except for drilling the hole through the tile and backer, it was pretty easy to complete the install. I was also concerned that the bifold feature of the door would obstruct the small shower opening, but it works out just fine. I also like that there was plenty of adjustment to get a great fit.
