I used this to dispense distilled water in semi-measured amounts. I don't need to be exact but can't apply too much in my use case. Works perfectly fine for that. Fully stopped (i.e. with the dropper pushed into the stopper) the container will not spill. However, I have not tested to see if an impact would shake the stopper out of place. The entire piece disassembles (the rubber topper for the drip, borosilicate glass dropper, HDPE plastic stopper, and borosilicate bottle) for cleaning. The neck is fairly narrow at 1.7 mm diameter so make sure to have some form of wire brush to clean it out. As another reviewer mentioned, the dropper does not reach the bottom of the bottle. It sits around 0.9 mm from the bottom.

I use this to store oils that I make. It works great and it has an old fashioned apothecary look to it. It's a little tricky cleaning the dropper and getting it back together. Overall, I like it and may end up buying more. Regarding the dropper being short, it pulls down and very nearly touches the bottom of the bottle. Just fiddle with it a little. I've had it a while now and it's still like new.
