seeing how you can suck venom out is a (proven) myth. why would you want it?

My son was stung by a wasp yesterday, got him home put bp cuff on him as a tourniquet and used an aquarium vacuum pump on the area after using a hunting knife to make sure no stinger stuck in. Redness and pain free after at most 1 to 1.5 hours. Last time it took a few days to be 100 percent. So sucking out venom is a proven myth but what kind of venom? Subdermal or intermuscular? I never bought the above kit but there are definitely things that it should work for. Although if snake bite venom cannot be sucked out then that ought to be removed from the description.

No, these are not manufactured in the USA.

Yes there are no dangerous sharp objects in the kit I received. Unless you’re really fast with the vacuum pump assembling it, you may be able to suck somebody’s eye out real quick and a cockpit but I’m not sure.

Has this actully been tested on a snake bite?

Tools like this have been in use for years. As it states in the description and instructions, it can't help with deep intra-muscular snake bites. It's not possible to draw venom those. But for whatever is just under the surface of the skin these can help. It's not meant to replace or delay emergency medical help. It's simply a tool to help remove as much venom as is possible, which any amount removed is beneficial.
