There's definitely a learning curve to getting used to / understanding how to program all the light channels and timer. But once you get the hang of it it's relatively straightforward to use. The mounting clip works really well I like that it's all metal and the gooseneck design of the light lets me move it to get optimal light coverage anywhere on my tank

I was sent a used lamp…don’t they have to give you a discounted price for a used product? Everything was taken out of the packages and just thrown into the box. So that’s kind of annoying. But overall it’s a decent light. Edited to add: despite being sent a clearly used product…this light is GOOD. I legit admire it every time I walk by my betta tank. It gives such good shadows and shimmer effects to the tank. I am loving it SO much more than the Fluval light I had been using in it. My plants are also doing much better now that I’ve switched over to this. I don’t have easy low tech plants either. The Amazon sword “rose” plants, cardinalis rose, bacopa dark purple and Anubias frazeri and Anubias pinto (more like a variegated plant) all look better than they ever have. I would definitely recommend this light for all planted tanks, especially nano tanks. I have this on my Fluval spec V tank (5 gal.)

This light works amazing for my planted tank. It’s super bright, the colors look vibrant, and my plants are growing beautifully. For the price of $50 bucks, the light doesn't come with automatic on and off timer for ease of use… just an off timer you have to manually turn on every morning… light is self was good and bright. Unfortunately it did have a burning smell, not sure if it will go away as i am returning the product. Also the fan noise is definitely noticeable, and turns on at 40% power, very annoying. But if is not in your bedroom, light it self is good, very bright and can see simmer too. Just not usable for me in my bedroom, as I’m a light sleeper. My small review to save you the trouble of returning the product. Cons: -burning smell (could just be my product) -fan noise -no build in automatic timer Pros: -light -build quality seems good -small form factor/clip on

Not sure what the wifi button on the remote does, but it works great.

The light itself is fine, but the built-in timer is laughable. It turns on about 10 minutes earlier every day, so I have to keep resetting it each week if I want it to have a normal day/night cycle. I thought we mastered simple timer technology like 50 years ago?
