But I finally read through the book as an act of defiance towards my boredom and a way to feed my procrastination and not study for just a bit longer. It was after I read it that I realized just how fitting it happened to be that out of all my books, this one was the one that was torn up. I don’t mean that it was a bad book, quite the opposite actually. It took me on a spectacular journey through a perspective that I never would have thought of otherwise. It brought me in with its amazing writing style and raw emotion, the strength of the characters as they went through so much but still loved. This book made me cry harder than I have in a long time, but made me appreciate life all the much more (and brought me out of my reading slump). If anything, now I feel as though it would be wrong for my copy to be perfect, as the story conveys the same about life. This book is alive, and much like all of us, it tells a story of both the broken and the beautiful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Book damaged, delivery driver broke my vase *by C***A on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2023* I’ve heard nothing but great things about this book. The author’s writing is beautiful but the physical book came damaged and marked? I believe it got marked and damaged from shipping and getting thrown around. Also got damaged from being thrown while being delivered and I believe the driver broke my vase by throwing the package. I’ve gotten many soft cover books on Amazon and they’ve all came in boxes with bubble wrap but this book was poorly packaged so it came a bit damaged. I’m excited to read this book anyways.
