Bought it to grind pills, at work. Works great. Includes a brush to get all of the dust out. Just remember to wait a few minutes before removing the lid.

Excellent power and design and quality construction

Unfortunately we had high hopes. Needed to grind up large pills so they could be dissolved and put in the liquid shake for a G tube while at summer camp. Made it to the 3rd or 4th pill and it went silent. Nothing, no noise, no warmth. Tried another outlet and nothing. Fortunately I was refunded the money and ended up searching for a local grinder that would work the next morning. Not saying it's not worth it. But didn't work out for us.

My grandma has dysphagia, so she has difficulty swallowing and so we have to crush her pills for her, which took forever (and she takes a lot of pills). I bought this and its a TIME SAVER. I mean its really powerful and crushes up her pills in like less than a second and it comes out to a fine powder. I love this machine so much and wish I bought it sooner. I can't believe this thing is only 27?? It's a small machine and light to carry so it's not even an inconvenience. This thing is perfect. Tip: When you blend the pills, make sure to not open the container for at least 1 minute because the dust will shoot up to your face (which is proof this thing works). I also added a blend of small pills and large pills cut in halves. I haven't tried with very large pills, but if you want this to last a long time, I say at least cut large pills into 2 and then put it into the machine.

When I got this, I purchased it because I was sick of crushing pills by hand or hand cranking them to powder. This works very well, turning large pills, even an 800mg ibuprofen tablet, into powder in seconds. The crusher is so loud though I can't run it at night in the apartment complex. This is small but has about the same noise as a countertop blender. It does the job; just be aware of the noise, as your ears will ring afterward. Aside from the sound, if you need pills crushed to take them, I 100% recommend it.

I bolus feed and take medication 4 times a day. I bought this grinder hoping that it would be a good replacement for previous brand that I liked but craped out. the 2 blades grind my pills well but not the contents of the time release capsules I take. What I really dont like is the top which is plastic and deep, meaning some of the ground powder gets pushed up into and its hard to make sure your getting a full dose. Also, when you lift the top off, some of the ground powder is left on the edge so you must be careful that it doesn't fall out. I brush the edges back in to the bowl. This would be a much better product if the top cap were much shallower and made of a material that didnt allow to powder to stick on it. One other thing, this unit uses a standard AC plug. others I've seen and used battery operated and charged with a USB cable/charger. I may keep this as a back up, but I'll be looking for a better unit

I was very surprised how well this works!! It pulverized several Ibuprofen I put in it, to test. It was amazing... had my doubts, but proved me wrong.

This little gadget was a life saver for us. After my mom had a major surgery, she got a G tube since she couldn’t swallow and we were literally crushing pills by hand until we found this little guy. Best thing ever and worked awesome for her tube. Buy it!!!

Very happy with this purchase. I actually bought it to grind up large tablets that I found difficult swallowing but I dare say it could be used to grind pepper, salt and herbs.
