Obviously I did not buy this as a fashion statement but it is so ugly it scared my dogs when I had it on! However, perfect for its intended use. The clay is flexible and retains the cool temp. My rosacea makes my facial skin suddenly fire up and burn like a serious sunburn and it is miserable - this is just the answer to turn the temperature down and cover all of the burning parts of my face at the same time. The ability to flip it over from the softer side to the non-fabric side is an added bonus and helps control the mask keeping it from being too cold directly on the skin. I would definitely buy this again and wish I had discovered it years ago. I used to pull an upopened can of soda of the fridge and apply it to the worst of the rosacea burning skin to cool the burn - but that was limited coverage and awakward. This hits all of the fired hot skin in a gentle way at the same time and leaves my hands free.

I was looking for a cooling face mask that covered more surface area. Most of the ones out there only cover the front part of my cheeks and don’t really reach as far back on my face as I wanted. This does a better job of that. It cools well and I just wish it lasted longer but no cooling mask has ever lasted as long as I would like. The straps could be longer though.

I have had this for some time perfect for what I need it to help reduce inflammation for my rosacea and redness, but unfortunately, I was keeping it folded in a sandwich, size Ziploc bag, and one of the corners where it folded punctured and it leaked through so FYI keep it in a gallon size freezer bag open as flat as can be going to order a new one and try that with the next one .

Worked great! I had full mouth dental implants and helped with the swelling! I would highly recommend for anyone that needs it following a dental procedure.

I'm sorry to report that this product did not provide me with very much relief. I had intended it to be helpful during painful Rosacea flare-ups. The first time I needed it, the product was too stiff to mold to my face, as I had stored it in the freezer. I now store it in my fridge, but the mask is still too stiff and uncomfortable to be helpful. I've tried both sides of the mask; certainly, the fabric feels nicer against my skin, but then I don't experience much cooling benefit. Of course the eye/mouth/nose openings can't line up properly for each person's face, but I didn't expect so much fumbling around to get the mask to feel tolerable. I can't walk around the house wearing it-- the clay mask is too heavy and my is vision compromised. If I must be lying down, I guess I'll stick with a cooling mask that contains gel or beads inside. Those will mold to my face and cover each area that's burning; this mask does not.

Got for my mouth reconstruction surgery. But didn’t deliver. Didn’t mold to face enough, not nearly enough gel so couldn’t get any cold in upper lips portion of mask & it took forever to refreeze. Knew this may be an issue, so rotated between this one & another but still ended up having to use other ice packs because took so long to freeze again. Returned myself & definitely would say, save your time & money. Try another kind. But regardless, it’s a gamble with any of them. I’d order way before procedure/surgery to make sure it’ll work. That way you got time to try other ones. Just passing on so e wisdom, from my experience.

I had gum surgery and my face and mouth were incredibly swollen. Making it warm in the microwave really helped me.. I started to use it cold and worked even better to bring down the swelling. Update: now I am using it every morning after I do my morning face routine. Once I put serum I put the mask on for 10 mins. Works like a charm! Just be careful not to leave it too long in freezer. It can burn a little if your not used to the cold.

This mask is actually great! I keep it in the freezer and let it sit for a couple mins before wearing it, but even when fresh from the freezer it’s still malleable enough to wear right away, not frozen stiff. I use a lot to relieve tension and migraines! And to de-puff! And can use anywhere on the body as cold pack!

Absolutely love these. I have so many different ice packs for the face and eyes however they’re all either their gel beads that lose their coldness really quick or else rock hard because they’re ice. The state is cold for quite a while and it’s a nice moldable gel. Definitely recommend it.

Life saver and comfortable, my go to for face flare ups. Live the soft inside so your face doesn't burn and freeze off when really cold.

When you first take this mask out of the freezer, it's hard to form the clay. So for the first while it's kind of like holding bricks against your face. I like that it has the plush side so that you can use it immediately, before switching to the plastic side for more direct contact. The problem is the straps: they're too short for my medium-sized male head. I can get them on, but the Velcro rubs against my head. That's fine when it's the soft side of the Velcro (wearing the mask on the plush side), but not fine when it's the scratchy side of the Velcro (wearing the mask on the plastic side). Actually, it's super irritating when it's the scratchy side against the back of my head. Good idea, but the execution could be much better.
