I think the shoes would be comfortable but not for all day amusement park wear. I don't think any shoe other than a sneaker would be comfortable for amusement park wear.

Not sure if I can answer your specific question if the shoes are SLIP RESISTANT. I have NOT slipped so far...but the PRODUCT FEATURES listed below might  give you some ideas:

I’m wondering,I don’t wear leather; the product description is confusing, it says PU leather AND leather; is this any part of the shoe genuine leather

The product info says it’s PU leather, not genuine leather. It’s an artificial leather made of thermoplastic polymer. The overall durability , wear and quality is supposed to be better than most faux leather alternatives. This is my first time trying this product. Time will tell.

I am a plus size woman who wears a 11 in shoes. Is it roomy and can fit thicker ankles?

I'm also plus size and I wear a size 11. It was too tight for me. If 11.5 was available, I would suggest getting that size.
